Thanks for sharing this. The books of John Rankine were a big part of my life when I was growing up. I remember getting so many of his books at second hand book shops when I was scouring the shelves for Space 1999 novelisations. I will dig out some of those books and read them this week in memory of a great man and author.

I would rather have 3 or 6 well written episodes in a series than 22 mediocre episodes. As it should be with everything, Quality over Quantity.

A nice analogy would be to compare Powys Space 1999 books to Pocket books Star Trek books. Quality over Quantity. 🙂
