I was going to start campaigning for a chronology and you saved me the trouble.
Perhaps future volumes from Powys could have a note on the back cover saying when the story takes place, as the BBC Doctor Who books did.

ParticipantEarthfall was never released in hardcover (it was a standard paperback in it’s original release, and Fanderson put out a trade paperback version over a decade ago.)
And unless I blinked, ALL the Year 2 novelizations were released in hardcover editions.
