KeymasterLooking through the TARDIS-like Powys Media storeroom, I came across a box of books–no less than William Latham’s first published novel, Mary’s Monster! We don’t have a page up on the site for this title yet; however, I have put an initial copy up on eBay.
This is an overlooked masterwork, in my opinion, meaning the work in which the artist demonstrates that he has mastered his craft. If you like William Latham’s work, step off the Moon for a few days and read Mary’s Monster. I recommend it highly.
I’ve priced it very reasonably–the starting bid is only $10. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Any future edition will be a rewritten novel. Happy bidding!

ParticipantFYI – Mary’s Monster arrived on my doorstep today. He’ll be coming on vacation with us 🙂 . I had intended to pick up the book several years ago for the ex-fiancée of a friend who was an English Lit grad student & a Shelly fan, but waited too long (both to get the book and before she became an ex & moved away). Glad you’ve now made these available for the Limited Time Offer. Look forward to reading it.

ParticipantDang, I bought this back when, early on, and started reading it, but lost track of it during a move early in reading. I’ve been doing some cleaning recently and found it in a long overlooked box :(, so I put it in a bookcase next to the other Powys books that I’m currently reading. 🙂

KeymasterIt’s an engrossing read! A fascinating story, not to mention a fascinating story WITHIN a story! One of my favorite books! I was lucky enough to have read it from even earlier drafts. I’m not saying this because I published it–I am saying that is WHY I published it!
