Here is a picture of me at a Midnight Showing of 2001: A Space Odyssey, in Louisville. I’m holding a cup of English tea, because I was having some minor stomach trouble that evening.

Sorry about the missing the picture. Somehow, the computer would not paste it on the message, after it was posted.

Oh, well…

Might be because the size of the pic is too big… (the first pic I tried to post was rejected by the site for that reason).

Would’ve been nice to see the pic in question though 🙂

The pics have to be no more than 200 x 200.

I just got back from working Mission Control for a pretty thrilling launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery on her final voyage into space and got inspired to post one of my tech-geek pics from when I visited the VLA out in New Mexico.
Endeavour will have its final launch in April, Atlantis this summer, and then that’s it. No more Shuttle.

Nice pic, Ultra! Wish I’d taken a photo like that when I visited the VLA back in 2004. The visitor’s center was closed, and I was pretty bummed–I wanted the T-shirt, or at least the coffee mug!

Sad to think that the Space Shuttle, like Concorde, will soon become History.

I sometimes think Earth is a mirror of Sunim 🙁
