I was wondering if the people who ordered the autographed copy of the Year two Omnibus would be give a first offer on the Year one Omnibus? Is that even something you can do through Lulu?
The Year One Omnibus won’t be going through lulu.com — they can’t do signature pages!
Once available, we’ll accept pre-orders through this site, just as we’ve done with the Resurrection audio book.
That didn’t answer my first question. Will the people who ordered the year two omnibus with the signiature page be given a first option on buying the year one omnibus with signiature pages?
I rather selfishly hope not. I rediscovered S99 fandom too late to place an order for one of the first 100. I feel very fortunate to have one of the second 100 Y2 books, but would love to have the chance to have a signed Y1 volume.
I think I can safely say that we will be selling Year One as a pre-order first (as soon as it is approved and printer-ready)–on a first come, first served basis.
EVERYONE who pre-orders a book will get one–because we’ll be printing at least as many as are pre-ordered, but only the first 100 orders placed will get signed, numbered copies. There’s just no other way to do it.
We will post a notice HERE on the Powys forum FIRST to let people know when the book is available for pre-order. Likewise, as we get close to selling the 100th signed/numbered copy, I’ll post a note saying that soon after we will not be able to guarantee signed copies.
Last time, the first 100 sold out in 10 days. After all it’s Y2 not U2! 🙂
