So it’s official, I guess, there IS a Powysverse–and I couldn’t be prouder.
Rupert Booth has written a story for the Powysverse; I am typing up my edits today. More info on this in the near future. B)
Doh! Sorry all… can you tell I’m a newbie… can’t get my posts right!! LOL
Anyway what I meant to say was, if there are not enough fan fiction writers out there…. then how about writers already published by Powys books.
Who would readers like to see back in print?

Huh. That’s a new one for me. It appears to be from a German site, ‘Mondbasis Alpha’, that is largely untranslated.
Sorry, Cricket, had to go back and check the original post. We’re going to stick with one nomination per person (though you can second another person’s nomination). So far two nominations…

Barbara@ Pat: I just saw your note regarding the story “Paper” from the German “Mondbasis Alpha” page. You are absolutely right, this author does deserve a nomination. Unfortunately, the author writes her stories in German only. There are only two of her stories translated to English: This one, and a short Christmas story titled “The Christmas Meteor”, on the same website. She is an incredible writer. Maybe some day there will be more translations.

Sorry, the nomination period is over — but there’s always next time. We left the nomination period open for quite awhile (and it had to stop at some point!).
OK, I see. Unfortunately I didn’t find my way here before today… But I’m looking forward to another chance next time. 🙂
phew…I have a few days with web connection…feel like I’ve missed so much..I was so worried I’d miss the vote :blink:
anyway…all three of the nominated fanfic writers are superb – well they are in my humble opinion…and it was a really difficult poll to vote in…( definitely the hardest so far :S ) and like Pat says with her analogy to icecream…how can you possibly be made to choose a favourite writer…it totally depends on the mood you’re in…
I’d vote for all three if I could…BUT… I am trying very hard to stick to the rules…
