Android Planet Update

Earlier, I listed the final steps to getting Android Planet published. They were:

1. The book is being formatted to Lulu’s specs.
2. Once submitted, an ISBN number and barcode will be issued. These will be incorporated into and onto the book.
3. Then it will be re-submitted, and a proof copy will be sent to us. We’ll check to see, all the chapters start on the right pages, etc.
4. If so, we log on, and choose “publish”.
5. Then we build a page for the book on the site.
6. Finally, we post a button on that page, and a message on the forum.

Of course, there are always lots of intermediate steps that crop up. For example, will there be a dedication? To whom?

Where are we now?

Still on Step 1. However, now the book has been formatted (and we have the dedication), except for the copyright page and the dedication page and a minor formatting change.

Meanwhile work continues on Phoenix of Megaron.

Please, PLEASE, get it released via Lulu soon! I may not have been able to afford the Year 2 Omnibus, but the money is there and set aside for AP. I WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY! LOL! ;-D What more can I say? I’m that desperate! :silly:

That’s the dance I do when I don’t quite know how to feel, the one when I’ve got a book but I know it’s a while yet til the next one and I’m all confused: do I read this one slower to make it last or power through it and then get all angry… See what you are doing to me. :laugh:

Step 5 was done weeks ago. We are now on Step 3. We’ve submitted the completed book with ISBN and barcode. Waiting for the proof copy. This could take a week.
