So many stories have this inconsistancy, not just Space 1999 stories. It always amazed me that the authors, editors, proof readers always missed that little glitch. Now days I just smile and think there’s another one…

Sounds like you are a busy man indeed Mateo. 🙂

Congratulations on the music news, sounds like lots of fun. :cheer:

You might need to remind these folks about the size of the Powys team, what with your lives and other interests like music I’m surprised you get any books out for us at all…
In addition, one of our newest pieces was picked up for inclusion in a series of art exhibitions in the UK scheduled for this fall.
That sounds interesting, maybe a post on the forum about this might be good. Or on the facebook page, then we could have some pictures. 😉

I went to buy some blue suede shoes last week and they didn’t have them. 🙁 I placed an oder and they will be in stock in September… I may have them for Breakaway Day 2011…
You will have to put up with a happy dance in my red suede shoes, will they suffice? Red is, after all a much happier colour.

Yay Bill! :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly:

Has Bill been doing some work and finished proofing a new book for us????????

Could it be that the Year 1 Omnibus is almost ready for us to consume with fervent abandon? He asked hopefully… :cheer:

Can you tell I’ve had 3 glasses of wine? 😛

New book means I’ll happy dance for y’all… :woohoo:

Yay bill!

I much preferred Future Life magazine, so many more topics covered… I still have every issue packed away somewhere. B)

I tend to forget that the rest of the world is in financial woes. Here in Australia it is a bit of a golden age at the moment, with our dollar at parity with the US we are able to buy much more from the outside world. (at its worst we were at $0.50 just a few years ago) So, while you guys are suffering we are enjoying ourselves and buying up big.

I do like the idea of an omnibus hardcover though, bring it on. :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly:

I agree Tex, Lulu should have a hardcover option for all Powys books. Of course then I would have to buy a hardcover and a paperback to have them all…

I can’t wait for a new Powys book, I want one now… 🙁

I went to see a psychic to see when the next Powys book is coming out but the mists of time were heavy and nothing could be seen. 🙁

Maybe I can ease my frustrations by having myself put into cryogenic stasis until publishing day… 😉 But then, I probably would thaw unevenly and shatter my legs as I tried to happy dance with my new book… That would be embarrasing.

Oh well, just have to sit it out and wait. 😛

Would love to visit, it’s on my list of places to go when I return to the UK.

Maybe, when the time is right, Powys should consider a book of Ken’s Space 1999 artwork. A picture depicting each episode and his awesome covers would be a magnificent addition to my 1999 library. 🙂

I’m thinking… coffee table book. B)

Such a softie Pat. Is blue your favourite colour? 😛
It is a nice cover and the picture tells part of the story. But it didn’t resonate with me as much as Android Planet. When I first looked at that, the whole story ‘zinged’ (is that a word? ) through my brain at a million miles an hour as though I’d just finished reading it.
I’d love to see Ken’s interpretation of the Alien Seed before it was destroyed, now theres a cover to look forward to. 🙂

Any word on this book’s release, or any others for that matter? It’s been so long since I happy danced that my dancing shoes are gathering dust… 🙁

Geez I’m a complainer, no news for a week or so and I’m reduced to the worst sort of whinger.

Mind you it is all Powys’s fault for being so efficient and getting out so many books so quickly, we’re becoming used to a book for every month. If I go back and count up all of my Space 1999 books and apportion one per month from the date of first publishing I’m up to about 1980/81 (roughly) that leaves 360 books to print before we get caught up… 😛 :woohoo: Look what’s in store for us! :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo:

The company now has a Facebook page and also have their artwork listed on The Deviant Art Website.

I must admit to only reading this mammoth tome just the once and many of the details elude me at the moment. I do recall enjoying the revised books much more than the originals and liking everything that was fixed/edited/altered (take your pick for the correct term). I like the fact that the episodes were in production order and the addition of the new bridging material, the novelisation of The Taybor and Koenig’s interlude (you waht I mean by that, or soon will when you read it).
Such a pity we can’t go back in time and… ah well, no use wishing for the impossible.

When’s the next book due Mateo? 😛
