Patrick ZimmermanParticipant
do you have a review of Shepherd Moon up on Amazon?
If we can get to 10, Bill will divulge all the secrets of the universe! 😉Patrick ZimmermanParticipantI just put in a 4th one on Amazon US.
Looks like there are 3 on the UK site, so just 3 more to go folks!Patrick ZimmermanParticipant:cheer: got mine today. :cheer:
so much for expedited shipping, what a waste.
Patrick ZimmermanParticipant
My copies of “The Whispering Sea” arrived in the post this morning! Yay! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I finally, finally got my shipping notice this morning. Once again, it’s taken 4 business days. not sure how you other guys are getting it quicker.
And worse, despite popping for fast shipping, it still won’t arrive until Monday as Fedex doesn’t deliver on Saturdays. Fedex does happily offer the option of picking up items from their distribution center on Saturday’s for a small $16 convenience fee though! :blink:Patrick ZimmermanParticipant
Ordered.
Tex
(thanks fer the code, Ultra–I ordered a couple of the new Doc Savage hardcovers along with)
glad the code worked!
it expires on 2/28, but I’m sure there will be more.man, I am getting antsy. How long does it take to print a book on demand? I’m eagerly waiting for that shipping notice!
Patrick ZimmermanParticipantFantastic!
As I was getting ready to place my order, I received an email from Lulu for a discount code. Amazing synchronicity!
Placed my order and saved 25% !use: GETIT25
Patrick ZimmermanParticipantI will update my vote to an emphatic “No, this should not be reprinted”
this thread got me to pull Unbound of the shelves to re-read it, at which point I noticed that the back cover states that Unbound is a ‘limited edition’
I’d hate to see Powys going back on their word. Just publish Unleashed as a solo work.

…who will be spending Friday, January 31st doing the final layout for some whispering something or other that already has its foreword and cover and wait am I typing this out loud or just thinking it?
I SEA what you did there….Patrick ZimmermanParticipantwill the ability to modify our Profiles be enabled at some point?
I like having a Profile picture – but also, I need to edit the Link to my Mondstation1999 page, as Martin modified everyone’s address after he re-hosted The Catacombs site.Patrick ZimmermanParticipantI think your original thought is the way to go – just reprint Eternity Unleashed.
As you say, the other two segments are out there, or will be out there, in their own books, so there’s no need to have all that duplication.Patrick ZimmermanParticipantahh, that’s a shame. I was really looking forward to reading this one. Hopefully some day it will become available in some form somewhere.
Third, I enjoyed reading this enough to go on an E-Bay hunt for as many of the original Charlton comics and magazines as I could afford. I look forward to reading the original versions of these stories. Anyone know an easy way to get the Look-In stories? I’m reluctant to pay E-Bay prices for a couple years worth of weekly magazines with only 2 pages of Space: 1999 content in each issue. Were these stories ever collected anywhere?
I purchased the electronic versions of these Blam! issues as they were being released. I’ll probably still buy this printed version, as there is still nothing quite like holding these in your hands and flipping around through the pages.the Look-In stories were never collected that I know of, but you’re in luck with them.
go check out the Catacombs – specifically here:
Archaia has announced a follow-up volume to their Space: 1999 graphic novel Aftershock and Awe, which was released earlier this year. The next one, scheduled for August, is Classic Space: 1999–To Everything That Was and features re-written, more sophisticated versions of the many of the Space: 1999 comics that were released in mid to late 1970s from Charlton and the British Look-In magazine. The new versions of the stories are said to help bridge the gap between seasons one and two, sort of like Powys has done with some of their books. The first graphic novel was excellent, so I’m looking forward to this. A preview of the first several pages is at .

your entire post showed up empty, but when I went to quote it, I could see the entire thing. The inclusion of the image URL causes that.
I’ve had that happen multiple times when I’ve included URL’s for images – it screws up the entire post.
I’ve deleted the URL and you can see your post in the quotePatrick ZimmermanParticipantcompleted reading a short while ago.
an entertaining page turner for sure.
time to contemplate
and eventually assemble some thoughts for a review, which I’ll post under a separate review threadPatrick ZimmermanParticipantWhat time is it?
