This IS fantastic news! The Metamorph is a bonus on the Y1 Blu-rays and it looks as stunning as the first season episodes.

Can’t wait to see Y2 in HD. It’s like seeing the show for the first time.

That would be a little bit of artistic license to idealize the image. Otherwise the eagle and android would just appear as silhouettes against the sunset.

Or maybe the planet revolves around one sun with another close by? πŸ™‚

About three hours ago audio clip 9 went up on You Tube.

More material added to whatο»Ώ amounts to a Breakaway behind-the-scenes documentary.

    Fascinating to hear.

I just got word from Martin Willey that there are Year 2 episode soundtracks as well! There is some preliminary talk about some day possibly releasing the material on some format. Martin says the original audio is of high quality- like really being there on the set. The You Tube copies are significantly reduced in quality.

Rare audio clip 10 now up:

OMG!! Chasing the Cyclops is going to be great. Thanks for the detailed interview about it Bill.

I will be interested to see how Joseph Campbell configures into the creation of the Powysverse.

The email comments from Martin Willey will be fun to read I’m sure.

Wow! Thanks for letting us know this one was added. These clips just keep getting better and better. Some juicy dialogue I wouldn’t have expected here.

But some of the extras are on the blu-ray discs themsleves I think. For instance the large collection of rare stills.

And I’m in the same boat– no player yet!

It was also great to hear them laughing at the end of a take in one of the clips (Barry Morse tripping over a piece of furniture maybe?)

There aren’t many S99 bloopers available so this was fun to hear.

The original script for Breakaway was called The Void Ahead, I believe. As Zack said, it would be interesting to see if these and other missing scenes are in it.

They might provide further interesting tidbits about characters and relationships for future novels. Who knows.
