I don’t think I have expressed this enough, but many, many thanks to you for all of the time and hard work you put into getting these books out to all of us. You and Bill Latham, along with all of your writers and artists, put so much time and effort into these books… obviously a true labor of love, as I can’t imagine any of you are getting rich off of this. So, even though all of us on this forum are clamoring for more books, please except my humble thanks and know that I really appreciate all that you have done and continue to do for us.

Yippie!!! :side: :silly: 😛 :cheer: :silly:
Sorry, I just can’t do it the way Zack does. But I am happy we’re so close to another Space: 1999 book.

Haven’t seen Zack’s happy dance in far too long. That’s reason enough to celebrate… 🙂
Happy New Year, everyone!!! May 2012 bring us lots of new Space: 1999 books. And with each one, a new happy dance by Zack.

Nice interview! I am really looking forward to this book. Based on his other Space: 1999 stories, I think John Kenneth Muir has an incredible handle on all of the characters. “The Forsaken” was one of my favorites of the Powys books. Reading it really felt like I was watching one of the original episodes. I have no doubt that “The Whispering Sea” will live up to the high standard set by “The Forsaken.”

Viva, Powys Media!!!

See, Pat? It is possible to teach an old dog a new trick or two. 😉 I can’t wait to read your book, too.

I’ll second that. I am definitely excited by the impending release of all Powys Space: 1999 books, and can’t wait to get my hot little hands on “The Whispering Sea,” Pat’s Compendium and “Phoenix of Megaron”…. But, I have been super excited about the Year One Omnibus. Is there any news or update at all?

Pat, how do you do these things? That’s so cool.

Anyway, welcome back Mateo. I think I speak for everyone when I say we missed you. And congrats on completing the score for “Millenium Apocalypse.” I watched the first episode, and found it intriguing. I did not understand all of what was going on since I did not watch the original series. However, I found the music to be very moody and it fit in perfectly with the story and action.

The Brell ornaments are pretty cool. Guess I’ll have to cough up some money. Sigh! :S

And do my eyes deceive me, or is that Denny Crane — umm, or possibly T.J. Hooker or that crazy Priceline guy — in the co-pilot’s seat?

Yay!!! Super cool news, Mateo!!! (Sorry, I can’t do the Happy Dance justice, so I won’t try.) By the way, I’ve missed you on these boards… Hope all is well with you and yours.

Cool factoid, Ultra. I saw “Super 8” Friday on an IMAX screen, but missed that little tidbit. I’ll definitely look for it when I see it again, and my wife and I both commented that “Super 8” is one movie we would both like to see again. Little plug here for anyone who has not seen “Super 8” yet… GO SEE IT!!! This is one of the best movies I have seen in years. I cannot say enough good things about this one. One thing that really impressed me is that considering it takes place in 1979, it felt so real. In 1979, I was not much older than the kids in this movie, and I felt like I knew them. Their lives and homes were not so different than mine and my friends in the 70s. J.J. Abrams really got it right. Anyway, awesome, awesome movie. Seriously, go see it.

Thanks for the heads up. I like these kind of documentaries anyway, but to have one of our own involved makes it a must-see in my book. I will definitely seek it out.

On another note, it’s nice to have some activity on these boards. C’mon, everyone, let’s keep the spirit alive while we wait for more books and audiobooks from Powys!

Okay, okay…. I know you have been busy as heck getting the re-issues ready, as well as getting the John Rankine books re-written, proofed and published. But can you please give us an update of where the Year One Omnibus is in its process, and maybe a tentative release date? I’m chomping at the bit to get a copy of this.

Spaces? Seems like a lot of thought is being put into spaces. As far as Balor taking an eternity, what else has the guy got to do to fill time? It will be worth the wait.

Count another one ordered!!!!! Perfect timing, as I finally got around to reading “Omega” and “Alpha.” I’ll probably finish “Alpha” tonight or tomorrow, so I’ll be anxiously waiting for “Android Planet” sometime next week.
