Patricia SokolParticipant
Having listened to the excerpt, all I can say is that I hope Rupert read happy bedtime stories with kittens and bunnies to his kids, if he’s got any, because if he read anything like this with such vividness, well…

Patricia SokolParticipantNow that The House Between soundtrack is picking up airplay, will the videos be available again, or can you point us in the right direction to find them? Soon to come out on DVD?
Thanks,
Oh no, you don’t get around me that way. 😛 That isn’t the Luke and Anna that Sandra knew, She would have mentioned all of those on Arkadia, not just two people.
Unless… Luke and Anna being on an “Arkadia” is something important in the grand scheme of things, which makes it worth mentioning. Such as… Paul & company are on Pyxidea, Luke and Anna are on Arkadia, we are going to Terra Alpha. All is right with the universe, now, because things are how they are meant to be (whatever that is), and new life has come back to three dead worlds.

Edit: Actually, what I think is interesting is that Anna and Luke, and Morrow & company, left under mutinous circumstances. Sandra says the decision to go to Terra Alpha was “difficult”. Another mutiny, and this time JK backed down to avoid fracturing of what was left of Alpha personnel?
Patricia SokolParticipantYa see, for me, Powys’ publications have been like those puzzle boxes that you have to open to get the prize inside. The prize could be a pack of Juicy Fruit gum (major shout-out to hard core Landau/Bain fans…), or it could be a $1,5000 gift certificate to Fanderson to buy an Eagle model. Each story tells you which piece to slide, but YOU have to figure out the sequence to push the pieces to open the box. I’m betting that there is more likely to be something way cool, as opposed to something lame, inside.
Some people don’t have the patience for those boxes. They smash them with a hammer, and they get what is hidden inside, but there is no sense of satisfaction. I like the challenge, and I enjoy making mistakes as well as guessing correctly. You can learn more from mistakes than in being correct!

Patricia SokolParticipantWell, it’s not what I want to see, but it is where I think it could go. It’s just a hunch.
At the risk of being as enigmatic as Mr. Latham, seek, and ye shall find. People ought to listen to Captain Carter more closely before acting. He was around live and in person to observe what it might mean (unlike Maya, and Anna Davis, Bergman, Morrow from Santa Maria).
Just a guess. (I know nuting…NUTING!)

Patricia SokolParticipantWelcome to the board. It’s a little quiet right now, but don’t let that stop you from posting.
There were actually 4 books released recently. Whichever one you missed, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it when you get it.

Which made me happy, because I thought he meant he was writing a sequel.
But then…

So, I can only hope somebody else is writing it, or else it’s already written.

Patricia SokolParticipantAll of which culminates, of course, in the waters (brell) parting and forming a wall of water on each side, drowning Pharaoh and his chariots (the Arkadians), while allowing Moses (Koenig) and the others to pass through on foot, unharmed. Too bad the Israelites didn’t have a flank of “dragons” to watch their backs. Might’ve made the trip quicker. 🙂 (Not that they were so helpful at the start, though.)
Should I extend this so far as to mention Moses’ staff used to part the seas as Koenig’s staff(member) (Maya) parted the brell? Nah…The pun’s too corny.

Patricia SokolParticipantPlease enlighten us mere mortals…Where did you come up with these imprints? Tlatoa I can figure out, but please tell me SOIL is unrelated to the “Underground” aspect :S
Just wonderin’. I mean, do you guys sit around a pizza throwing around ideas?
