I like reusing my favorite wall calendars when the proper year rolls around. 2010 happened to be the same as 1999 – so I put up my “Space: 1999 – 1999” Calendar in January. Little did I know I would be enjoying the photos and multiple book releases as well. Talk about serendipity. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
Two questions…
Have you ever had any feedback from Gerry or Sylvia Anderson?
Do you have a “timeline” you can share of when/where the books and short stories take place in relation to your order of the episodes? While most are obvious, some of the short stories left me wondering where they ”fit”.
Do you keep a data base or some record of every Moonbase Alpha character, in particular the incidentals, that were used in the series and in your books so that you don’t kill someone twice, for example?

The Year Two stories were greatly improved by the major re-write of the original novels by Michael Butterworth. Kudos to his efforts! The Powys mythology sprinkled in was a great bonus. I look forward to re-reading these stories after a few more “Year Three” novels come out as I’m sure I will appreciate them even more.
Although not as much re-writing is needed for the Year One set, I can’t wait to read these with the new stuff threaded in. This will really enhance these already wonderful stories. Yeah, you can tell I’m a big Year One fan! :woohoo:
