I have to figure out the domestic and international shipping costs. Once I do, I’ll put up a Paypal button so people can order it. I’ll check the setting for Survival, which should be about the same.

We sold a lot of books during the convention which was gratifying.

    The mystery novel is….

    SPACE: 1999 Black Doves
    by Elena Cambio
    Foreword by Nick Tate

The book isn’t finished, but a chapbook version, containing the opening chapters was released as a limited edition giveaway at the convention at the end of the Powys Media panel. Everyone attending was given a program. Some of these had a little orange sticker on the back. Each sticker-holder was given a free copy of the Black Doves chapbook.

The novel should be out in October.

    ALSO RELEASED:

    SPACE: 1999 Phoenix of Megaron
    by John Rankine
    Foreword by John Mason

This novel, rewritten, revised for continuity with the television series and the Powys novels AND with a new ending, was published and launched at the convention. As I printed more copies than were sold, we’ll be selling the remaining copies via this website until they are gone. Then we’ll make it available through Lulu.com. I’ll put up a Paypal button later today.

    AND FINALLY

    SPACE: 1999 The Forsaken
    by John Kenneth Muir
    Foreword by Prentis Hancock

This revised novel (we fixed the typos) was re-released at the convention. The formatting is a little off on a couple of pages (the title is on the left-hand page instead of the right-hand page). I have four copies available if anybody wants them. The book will be reformatted to correct for the error and released via Lulu.com this month.

    OK, update:

Phoenix of Megaron showed up at my door today. I will be on sale, exclusively, at the convention and become available on this site afterwards.

The Forsaken showed up at my door as well! The 10 copies I ordered will be on sale at the convention, but I still need to check them for formatting errors before we put them up for sale on Lulu.com.

I’ve got business cards, a poster, a table, a panel hand out, etc. ready for the convention. I’ve still got a ton of work to do , but we’re almost ready.

See you there. Friday night at 9 P.M. Author (meet and greet) afterwards–or at least that’s what I’ve been told! 🙂

At the panel: Elena Cambio, Mateo Latosa, Christopher Penfold, Ken Scott, Nick Tate (strictly in ALPHAbetical order, nothing more). 🙂

    At the con:

A Powys Media panel with Christopher Penfold, Mateo Latosa (yours truly), Elena Cambio and Ken Scott
A Powys table in the dealer’s room
    A book launch!
    A surprise!
    Or two!
Signed copies of Year Two (out of the vault) from the original 100!

See you in sunny Burbank, next the airport, around the corner from NBC studios, and with a “bird’s eye” view of its famous black doves.

NOTE: This last line is a joke based loosely on a Torchwood T-shirt. I have no idea (other than that it is also in Burbank) where the NBC studios are.

We are planning to release it at the convention in sunny Burbank, famous for its television studios, airports and black doves.

Not yet. The director has to edit the ten episodes into one film. However, he has spent the last few months working on a feature film called BETRAYAL, which just wrapped a few weeks ago and is now in post-production.

Now on YouTube! I wrote this piece last night as a gift for Ruben Amavizca-Murua, author and director of the play, Soldaderas, for which TKU provided the musical score. The play opened for previews on Friday, May 18th at the Frida Kahlo Theater in Los Angeles and is performed by the theater group, SINERGIA.
