You should have it soon. I sent a book to a friend in Sydney a few weeks ago. I sent it on a Saturday in L.A., and he got it on Wednesday in Sydney.

    Enjoy!

Message from Moonbase Alpha is totally canon.

Android Planet and the rest of the 1970s original novels–I think most people know–hold a place of great respect in the heart of this fan. AP is probably my favorite closely followed by Rogue Moon. E.C. Tubb and John Rankine did a great job and signaled the way. Obviously, the character of Rhoda never came to live on Alpha, so that aspect of Phoenix of Megaron is a stumbling block to considering the novel canon.

I remember being so awed when I heard an alien female was going to be added to the show in Year Two. I thought WOW they are going to respect the events of the original novel! Rhoda vs Maya? There’s a thread I’ve never seen before–and I am not being sarcastic. What would Y2 have been like with Rhoda?

All the orders are now packed and ready for shipment. It was a thrill; they look damn good if I say so myself. I think everyone will be pleased. Again, remember these are MP3 discs NOT audio CDs. I recommend playing them on your computer using Windows Media Player.

All our U.S. customers should have them early next week. Our Canadian customers by the end of next week. And our overseas customers within a week or two. ENJOY!

I’ll be packing them up today and shipping them tomorrow, as planned. As long as we receive the order before we head to the post office, it will ship tomorrow. Any orders received thereafter will ship the following Friday (we ship on Fridays only).

As there are now four people who have responded to the poll indicating interest in getting together informally for dinner and a chat, let me suggest a date.

How about Saturday June 5th, either at a restaurant or a coffee shop. I have a few places in mind. So to the four who responded, let’s get together. Email me at powysmedia @ prodigy.net.

I don’t want to announce things before they’re imminent. I announced Rupert’s novel because there is so little Prisoner news here. 🙂 We’ll be posting about upcoming books soon.

    6. Lots of percussion cues from Full Circle
    7. The Dragon Domain “dirge” (oddly enough, also used once in Y2)
    8. The music when Lee shock Helena and sends her flying.
    9. A piano cue from Ring Around the Moon

Ultimately the Fanderson discs were full to the brim. I don’t think they could fit anymore. Also some of these were library tracks, not composed by Barry Gray.

    I wish they’d make a supplement disc…and if wishes were horses…

It has a LOT, but not everything. We could compile a list, I guess.

    Just to start it off:

    1. The music from the coda of End of Eternity.
    2. The episode title music from The Infernal Machine.
    3. Almost all of the incidental score for The Troubled Spirit.
    4. The music used as background music from much of Mission of the Darians (a personal favorite).
    5. The ATTACK cue from The Infernal Machine….

What did you mean by Y2 being $150? Is there a Y2 set out there from Network?

And as for the Moon…everyone has. I’d bet on it. Of course we’re discussing a thread from a completely different forum!

There will be more Prisoner books, the next new one will be Freedom Day by Rupert Booth, co-author of The Prisoner’s Dilemma.

What Zack didn’t mention–and this is what really excited me when I got mine–is that the Network release has an ISOLATED SCORE! Yes, you can listen to the music by itself while watching the episodes. This gives you access to music used in the show but not on any soundtrack CDs! Sweet!

    Some quick answers:

    Pre-order date: To be announced
Price: Similar to Year Two, but we don’t have a quote yet from the printer
    Slip-case?: No info yet.

Sorry to be so vague, but I can’t give you information I don’t have yet.

Just remove the spaces between the following:

    powysmedia @ prodigy.net

    That should do the trick.

We’ve been putting up Paypal buttons on the pages, but we haven’t finished making them for all the books.

There is now an audio file on the site of a musical cue from The House Between. To listen, just click on The House Between under the Main Menu. Then in the middle section where the articles are listed choose the article with the musical clip.

Also, the soundtrack is now shipping!

Well, I don’t think either Bill or I would be able travel to Chicago for dinner. 🙂 Remember this is not a real convention, per se. That will be in Texas this summer. We would just like to get together with other local fans and and talk over dinner. I won’t say who, but as I’ve shipped out orders, I’ve noticed that some of you live very close to one another. Some in the same town!

I know a few people live in L.A. (where I am), I’d be happy to get together for grog and grub. My favorite pub in L.A. is Dan Sung Sa–and I can often be found there on Saturday nights!
