Give us some suggestions as to companies that could produce STUFF for us. Cafe Press was the first one suggested to me. D’oh!
Space: 1999 “STUFF” would require Powys getting an additional license, with a different department. Possible, but what I was thinking of was POWYS STUFF. Powys T-shirts, Powys mugs, Powys key chains. Just for fun!
The reason for all the typos in the first edition is that I had two files: an uncorrected one, and a corrected one. I mixed them up when Brian Ball sent me some final edits. I added his edits to the uncorrected one and then sent it for publication. By the time I discovered my mistake, I had 1000 copies in boxes in my living room. D’oh!
The reissues will have the same covers as before. I am not sure if The Forsaken will have two covers, but it’s entirely doable as far as I can tell.

I’m taking a little break from Phoenix of Megaron and working with the manuscript for Survival. As we prep the older books for re-release, I am going through it and correcting it’s numerous typos (all my fault–I fixed them, then sent the final–but unfixed–manuscript for formatting and publication). I just finished Chapter One. Expect a Survival Update thread!

I incorporated the final bits and sent it off for formatting. Once the cover is done, I’ll send it for approval. Once the approval is given, we’ll release it via Lulu.com.

I have now received the bio on John Mason and a DEFINITIVE list of John Rankine’s published works. These will be incorporated into the text. I’ve sent the back cover text to the cover artist for this book, Ken Scott. Once the book is formatted and the cover is done, we will be ready to go!
Look for SPACE: 1999 ANDROID PLANET, now part of the Powysverse, coming January 2011!

See that? Less than 9 hours after my last post on this thread, we successfully delivered a happy, little, tentacled, one-eyed book!
Check back often. COMING SOON is an understatement. Lulu may have shipped out the proof copy only yesterday, but we got it today. But proof copies are just that–copies that you proof to catch any errors inside or out. Well, we caught a few and are correcting them. We’ll resubmit the book ASAP. At that time, we’ll make it available for purchase. Don’t worry; we’re doing our best to get the Cyclops out! Something like this:
