Zazzle can only make what Powys authorizes, and at the moment that is only Powys Media stuff (no Space: 1999 or other ITV properties). Of course I could authorize lots of different Powys items, but WHAT?
What would you like to have? How would like to show the world that you are a member of the Powysverse?!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterSadly, Zack never lets us know how he feels about things. 😆 Just kidding!
I’m just glad you’re happy!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterWell, tomorrow came and went, and I didn’t do a damned thing. Well, actually, I did my laundry (glad you logged on for that tidbit?) and I put our first bit of STUFF up for sale (we’ve talked about it so much you probably feel you own one already). I got the approval for the Android Planet cover…not a total loss.
I just got back from dinner (Oiwake) and am going to settle in and watch more of season four of Deep Space Nine (I got the final four season DVD sets for Christmas. Got my new hoodie on and a big bottle of water…
I love Martin Landau’s portrayal of Koenig–it always came off as that of a real leader. But Avery Brooks as Sisko is also very impressive and layered. He really gives a stunning performance over the course of the series. That man should be given more prominent roles!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterTechnically, of course, stuff is neither singular nor plural (being a non-count noun)…but it always seems to indicate more than one thing, doesn’t it. Well, for the moment, we’ve just got..welll…one thing.
What other kinds of STUFF would people like?
And thanks to those who pointed out Zazzle. A good suggestion!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterThe cover art for Android Planet was approved TODAY!
One more piece of the production process in place. Have you been taking notes? 😛
Mateo LatosaKeymasterAt this point I have now finished proofreading:
the first movement: chapters one to three
the second movement: chapters four to sixI must say, the poetic nature of this novel really shines!
Tomorrow I will try to do the entire third movement.
Mateo LatosaKeymasterI’m on the last week of a three week winter recess. Got to take advantage of the time off. The holidays interfered a bit, but I still got work done. I try to get three chapters a day done. As I get closer to the end of a book, my pace picks up. Today I got a late start.
Off to bed!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterJust prepare to be blown away by Ken Scott’s cover!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterDid I say tomorrow? I decided to stay at Koffea a little longer and have now finished the entire First Movement (chapters one, two and three).
On to the Second Movement tomorrow. It’s a long way home from here!
Mateo
Mateo LatosaKeymasterFirst Movement: chapter two done! On to three…tomorrow!
Mateo LatosaKeymasterI’ve just completed my proofread of the overture and first movement: chapter one of The Forsaken.
Mateo LatosaKeymasterThe front cover has just been delivered and the wraparound cover is scheduled to be completed tomorrow.
All good things…
Mateo LatosaKeymasterJohn Mason and I have just begun discussing Phoenix of Megaron (hereafter on this thread: PoM). We’re just exchanging first impressions and thoughts at this point. I have detailed notes that I will share with him over the course of the week. Today, however I am working on The Forsaken for its forthcoming reissue.
Mateo LatosaKeymasterThose pesky androids! Always interfering with our publishing schedules. 🙂
No, the cover is still being worked on and has to be approved. Also, we have to format the book to Lulu’s specs and do the usual revisions once we are issued an ISBN number and barcode (inside the book and on the back cover, respectively).
Expect it later this month.
There’s a lot to getting a book published–as you all know from my numerous updates. It’s all about transparency! 😛
Mateo LatosaKeymasterI finished my proof read of Resurrection. On to The Forsaken! If anyone noticed any typos in that book, please email me!
