Anything is possible, but there are no plans for that at the moment.

I’ve updated the list of fortcoming titles for 2011. I didn’t included titles scheduled for 2012 and some titles for 2011 are secret! 😛 And one of those titles we’ve been kicking around I’ll just refer to as EeI (that’s “E” “e” “I” with a capital “I” as in Insight, not a lowercase “l” as in loco) , which might just be a hybrid book/audio, another Powys first!

Yes, I know, it’ll drive Zack crazy! 👿

I ordered the first mug we put up. It came today! I look forward to having my first cup of coffee from it.

Tell me about it! But just because I might have a little Dorcon blood in me, I put up two new items (on the rather LESS expensive side), just coz I wanted to have one! 🙂 There are now two buttons, one has the Powys logo and the other has the Powys Logo and below it, the phrase, Welcome to the Powysverse.

Useful for conventions. I won’t have to wear the same Powys t-shirt for three days–nobody wants that!–so people can recognize me; I can just wear the button.

I’ve tried to do as many variations as I could. Coming this evening is a black shirt (or any color you like really), with the phrase Welcome to the Powysverse on the back. And a mug with two red logos on a transparent background with the same phrase in the middle.

David: Nice of you to put so much effort into it, but it’s just a “P” in a font I liked. Nothing more.

Alpha4ever: Thank you for buying Powys STUFF, and yes, we do receive a percentage of the sale. In fact, Zazzle allows us to choose any percentage we’d like, up to 90%! Of course they just ADD that percentage of the items basic cost (their manufacturing cost) on top, and the item becomes VERY expensive, very quickly. We are taking the standard (small)percentage, to keep the items affordable.

That said, every book you buy, every mug and T-shirt helps us put out more books. The good thing about Powys STUFF is that, unlike books and audios which take a large investment of cash up front to get done, they don’t cost us any money to produce.

That is a browser issue. Firefox, for example, doesn’t display it. Odd.

At the top of the Powys Main Page there is the Powys logo, next to it the words NOW AVAILABLE, next to that the image of Chasing the Cyclops and next to that the image of the Powys mug.

If you don’t see that. Go to the menus on the left side of the Main Page, Click on Space: 1999 Books. In the center of the screen you’ll see a list of all the articles on this site associated with Space: 1999 Books. One of them is Powys Mug. On that page you will see the image of the mug which will link you to Powys Media’s page at Zazzle.

Or you can just use this link (be sure to look for “View all items”)

Okay, after completing the edit on Android Planet and finishing the proofreading on Resurrection and The Forsaken, I had planned to take the weekend off. Well, I planned to.

I finally got around to reading the letter Rachel McFarlane had written to the person she wants to write the foreword for her book. I won’t mention who it is–because we haven’t asked them yet. But a few minor edits and my part in it is done.

Then I moved on to reading half of Ellen Lindow’s story for Prodigal Moon. It’s no secret that we ran a poll on this site for Powysverse readers to choose a fan-fiction author to contribute a story. I’ve read only half so far. I’ll read the second half tomorrow.

Tomorrow, other than that I am planning to take the day off…or work on some music, or type up my notes for Phoenix of Megaron, or….

One day a Powys fan in their Powys logo’d garb will be at a science fiction convention, and they’ll see across the room another person adorned with the Powys “P” (yes, it’s actually a “P”), a kinship will be recognized, a conversation started, a beer drunk, and a perfectly good T-shirt stained! 😛

Citizens of the Powysverse! More stuff to come. I’ve now got high quality png files and will be putting up T-shirts and hoodies tomorrow!

NEW STUFF!

When you click on the image of the mug it will take you to Powys Media’s page on http://www.zazzle.com . There, you will see on the lower right side a window that says “Other products by Powy Media”

We now have a second mug available. This one has three logos on it. The outer two are the red Powys logo on a black background. The center one is the red Powys logo on a white background.

And for those with iPhones, we now have iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 cases!

I have now finished my proofreading pass for THE FORSAKEN. I sent it off for formatting. I will be contacting the cover artist for a new image file configured to Lulu’s specs.

My part of it is done.

So far, we’re preparing the following titles for reissue:

Resurrection (novel)
Resurrection (audiobook)
The Forsaken (novel)
Eternity Unleashed (standalone novel)

And coming in early 2011:

1. Android Planet
2. Phoenix of Megaron
3. The Whispering Sea

Book cover art is not an option at this point, at least no ITV-property-related cover art. For the moment it is Powys Media stuff ONLY.
