ClaytonParticipant
Mateo,
I used to have those same kind of dreams when I young! Except they were about Star Wars instead of Space: 1999. I would be at some store and see a rack of novels and issues of the Marvel comic book that I didn’t know existed…and I didn’t have enough money for them all, maybe not even one.And I still have dreams 25-30 years later of watching a Land of the Lost episode that I somehow had never seen before. It’s amazing the impressions our youthful fixations continue to have on us as adults.

ClaytonParticipantIf you’re taking votes, I’m anxious for the Year 1 omnibus. 🙂
ClaytonParticipantJK,
Whoa, I was thinking the same thing! Land of the Lost licensed novels or story collections would be a dream come true. Mateo, get on that! 🙂 I’ll one-up Zack and do the Sleestak dance!
If anyone’s interested, I’ve done “episode studies/chronologies” of Land of the Lost and other genre universes on my website PopApostle. I intend to do Space: 1999 at some point.

ClaytonParticipantI felt the same about Super 8, Slindvall. It could almost have been about me and friends at that time. We even started making a super 8 movie. I don’t even remember exactly what it was about, but had something to do with some aliens called the Triangulons who were threatening to blow up the moon! We even scavenged some Space: 1999 models (and a Millenium Falcon) for our model spaceship. We never finished it though.
ClaytonParticipantHey, JK! Good to see you here. Don’t be a stranger like Mateo! 🙂
ClaytonParticipantI’m glad to hear of new and reprinted Space: 1999 comics. Only thing is, I’ve been following BLAM’s S:1999 announcements for a while now and they’ve been promising publications for a few years now and they never arise. Hopefully they’ve finally got it all ironed out. Here’s their website: BLAM Ventures.
