I have been really enjoying rediscovering one of my favorite TV shows. Only last year did I discover some of the early Powys books, and then you re-emerged in December with a promise of several new books. And you have delivered brilliantly on those books… most recently with the wonderful [i]Resurrection[/i] audio book. Listening to Barry Morse’s rich, expressive voice reciting the story actually made me sad that he is no longer with us.
I was especially pleased to get a copy of the Year Two Omnibus, which you sent me in January. I had desperately sought that book for months, but those who have one obviously do not want to part with it. I was never able to find it on eBay or any of the other book sellers on line. When I discovered your new website, I was only too happy to find out I could still order a new copy directly from you.
The Year Two Omnibus is a beautiful book, very well made, and an awesome and necessary addition to any worthy [i]Space: 1999[/i] collection. So I obviously want to add the Year One Omnibus that is coming soon. Now that you have out everything else that has been announced, when do you anticipate that you will start accepting preorders for the Year One Omnibus, and when do you think it will begin shipping? I’m going on a trip soon and don’t want to miss out on my chance to order what promises to be the crowning achievement of the best year Powys has had.
The Year One Omnibus is very likely NOT going to be ready for June — I would think July at the very earliest for pre-orders. Still, we’ll be giving plenty of notice for people to start keeping their eyes peeled.
