The original theatrical score for “SOLDADERAS” will be available for download at all the major digital music retailer this week. In the meantime, here are two videos from the score. The first, “Lejos de ti” features a live (audio recording) performance by César and his young daughter, Tonalli, in a guitar duet. The second is the studio mix of track one off the album, “La mujer y a la corona de plumas” (which translates as “The Woman and the Crown of Feathers”), which features a chorus of pan flutes (and birdsong) performed by yours truly.
C’mon, Mateo! Do some music I DON’T like, just to shake things up. After all, you could always go Disco!
