The final draft of The Whispering Sea by John Kenneth Muir was turned in this morning! We are hoping to have Phoenix of Megaron AND The Whispering Sea out by Christmas. I know, it’s a tall order, but I should be done with all my work on Millennium Apocalypse by Sunday (we are now prepping the soundtrack release). I will immediately resume work on PoM and do a final editing pass on TWS.
In case anyone is interested, this new draft of The Whispering Sea is a greatly expanded work–so you’ll all have something meaty to chew on during the cold winter months!

October 25, 2011 at 8:20 am #2287Glenn McCrabbParticipantExcept that in Australia it is Summer… 🙂
Two books! That is exciting. I am seeing my customers this week so I will pass on the good news, they will be very happy with the update. Thanks for your tireless efforts Mateo and the Powys team. I know we’re a pack of whingers who all want the books to appear as quickly as we can read them but we do appreciate each and every page of each and every book that you guys produce.
Thanks again.
October 25, 2011 at 10:11 am #2288Mateo LatosaKeymasterAny credit should go to the authors (Bill, John, etc.) and to Ken for his amazing art. Not to me.

Both JKM’s blog and Mateo’s post say “Sea” – so I’ll go with singular.JKM blog
November 15, 2011 at 12:43 pm #2346Mateo LatosaKeymasterThe Whispering Sea (singular), which tells you something about the planet it takes place on. A unique setting for a Space: 1999 novel.
