A few questions answered.
1. The reason we don’t publish electronic versions of our books (ITV licensed properties) is that we are contractually prohibited from doing so.
2. Miss Freedom was printed in 2 limited runs of 100 by special permission to get the book out for two conventions, not because we chose to limit its print run.
3. The delay in a wide release of MF is completely my fault. After it’s publication I was dealing with a personal loss that slowed Powys’s output. Most people here are aware of the circumstances. Since then, we’ve concentrated on getting the 1999 books out and have released a number of books and audios over the last three years.
4. I don’t always answer every email or post. Many people ask me the same things, so I try to give general answers on the forum. When we know a release date, we share that information. When we don’t have one, we don’t have one.
5. A lot of books are commissioned, many come to fruition, some don’t. For a variety of reasons.
6. John K. Muir is writing his Prisoner novel now, and we hope to have it and MF out by the end of the year.
