The Forsaken was definately an excellent Year One adventure, and it certainly answered an old thirty year mystery concerning the disapperance of Paul Morrow and Tanya Alexander. I must admit, the way they were written out, was quite interesting. If not surprising.
Since this novel and Survival explained what happened to the aforementioned two and Victor Bergman, I’m curious to know the fate of David Kano what led to his mysterious disappearance.
What befell Moonbase Alpha’s favorite computer expert before the Alphans came across Psychon and our favorite alien science officer Maya? Was it a tragic death? Did it have something to do with his ability to link his mind with Alpha’s computer?
That is one mystery I look forward to solving in a future book.

I believe in STARLOG’s articles and their ALPHA guidebook, both David and Paul died in an Eagle crash or something. I also recall that Bergman’s forcefield failed and someone died there. Possibly Bergman died when his mechanical heart failed while he was on the surface of the Moon working on his forcefield. This might have been the official reason the trio died from the production office but they decided not to include these explanations.
