I was just wondering as I walked home from work this afternoon…

Is it worth having Will iam Latham autograph the omnibus as well? After all, he did supply one novelisation for the book. 🙂

    What say you good people?

I would say “Aye” if it wasn’t for the fact that that sort of thing doesn’t really interest me. I guess if enough people want him to, I’m sure Bill will be only too happy to sign copies for them 🙂

Hey, he had a hand in it, he should sign it if he feels so inclined.

I’m just amazed there wasn’t more hooplah when Zack nabbed forum posting #1999.

I’m chuffed (English expression meaning “delighted in a soft and cuddly sort of way”) that Zack got the 1,999th post on the Forum. How very appropriate 🙂

Chuffed. I like that. Better chuffed than chafed.

Any news on this particular release?

Last I heard, this was Mateo’s baby and that he was working on it. We’ve not heard anything from Mateo on the Forum for months. Be nice to hear from him and to get an update on where work is at on this long anticipated release 🙂

Sorry I’ve been away from the forum for so long. I am planning for a 2015 release. Sorry for the long wait. My life has been hectic and other personal matters kept me away from Powys biz stuff. Again, sorry for the wait.

Lovely to hear from you Mateo 🙂

I came across a comment on a thread somewhere that said that the YEAR 1 Omnibus project had been abandoned by Powys as you had lost the rights to re-print/publish the novels.

Your post would seem to confirm that this is not the case and that the project is still going ahead B)

Sorry to hear that things have been hectic/difficult outside of the Powys side of things & that this has kept you away from updating us all on the Forum (we miss you!). Hoping things look up for you & that 2015 holds good things in store for you and your family.

I can confirm that Powys lost the rights to Year One (Ball and Tubb novels)in 2005 due to a failure to publish. They lost the rights to Rankine’s novels at begining of 2014 for the same reason, (ten years waiting is not acceptable) plus the complete failure to publish “Original Self”. Mateo is well aware of both situations. Unfortunatly, Year One will not be published by Powys.
