Enjoy, folks, and let us know what you think.

You owe me $1.00 for each typo you find.

Just spotted the site update this morning and fired off my order just now.

Also found that you can stack coupon codes.
Put in JUN50 as Bill mentions for reduced shipping
and then put in GETIT15 for 15% off the books

if past performance is any indication of how things are working, I don’t think I’ll receive the book until after the July 4th holiday weekend. but wouldn’t have time to read it then anyways.

Codes don’t seem to work for the UK 🙁

Also….”Only ships from North America…”???

I’ve ordered two copies but expedited shipping would have costed a whopping £63, so I’ve opted for standard shipping so the cost is a more manageable (but still expensive) £45. None of the discount codes seem to work.

Looking forward to the book but why isn’t it available from the UK like the others have been?

Just as an afterthought, I must say that the covers for the books have been fantastic.

Looking forward to the book. (Less so to Lulu picking my pocket on this occasion…)

Lulu has been extremely challenging of late — apparently, the standard paperback size that we’ve used (and even 6 X 9 books) aren’t being printed internationally like they have in the past — we can’t get our same ISBN numbers and distribution options as we have previously which is REALLY frustrating. But, continuing to try to get a straight answer from lulu.

I’d say steer clear of expedited shipping for international orders at the very least until we hear more.

I’ll keep everyone posted.

With regards to the Postage side of things, I also found that the Coupons didn’t work in the UK, however, I did find one that did:

FWD15 – this will give you 15% off & it worked for me here in the UK 🙂

Obviously, with the 2 books being Shipped from North America by surface mail, it’ll be another 3 weeks wait at least until mine arrive… but I think I can wait a little longer for my next flight to Alpha 😉

Btw Bill, I’ve tried to e-mail you at your usual address, but both attempts have failed and bounced back. Could you let me have your new e-mail address. Thanks 🙂

Thanks for the update Bill.

My concern is that the books will be just too expensive for many people outside of the US. I’ll buy any Space: 1999 novel pretty much automatically, but even I balked when I saw how much it’s now going to cost if they’re only printed in the US.

Oh well – not much that can be done probably. Looking forward to the books anyway (when I eventually get them!) 😉

Got my shipping notice today. Woo Hoo!
Still won’t arrive until next Tuesday, even after paying for faster shipping, but it’s on its way.
