Enjoy, folks, and let us know what you think.
You owe me $1.00 for each typo you find.

June 27, 2015 at 5:18 pm #3222Patrick ZimmermanParticipantJust spotted the site update this morning and fired off my order just now.
Also found that you can stack coupon codes.
Put in JUN50 as Bill mentions for reduced shipping
and then put in GETIT15 for 15% off the booksif past performance is any indication of how things are working, I don’t think I’ll receive the book until after the July 4th holiday weekend. but wouldn’t have time to read it then anyways.
June 27, 2015 at 7:28 pm #3223Scott LindvallParticipantInstantly ordered. Looking forward to getting and reading it. Thanks for the heads up on the discount codes.
June 27, 2015 at 7:44 pm #3224KerryParticipantOrdered! Thanks for the coupon tips, Ultra.
June 29, 2015 at 12:41 am #3225Steve FosterParticipantFantastic news! Just ordered two copies! Launch all Eagles! :cheer: :cheer:
June 29, 2015 at 1:20 am #3226Simon MorrisParticipantCodes don’t seem to work for the UK 🙁
Also….”Only ships from North America…”???
I’ve ordered two copies but expedited shipping would have costed a whopping £63, so I’ve opted for standard shipping so the cost is a more manageable (but still expensive) £45. None of the discount codes seem to work.
Looking forward to the book but why isn’t it available from the UK like the others have been?

June 29, 2015 at 1:32 am #3227Simon MorrisParticipantJust as an afterthought, I must say that the covers for the books have been fantastic.
Looking forward to the book. (Less so to Lulu picking my pocket on this occasion…)
June 29, 2015 at 2:41 am #3228William LathamKeymasterLulu has been extremely challenging of late — apparently, the standard paperback size that we’ve used (and even 6 X 9 books) aren’t being printed internationally like they have in the past — we can’t get our same ISBN numbers and distribution options as we have previously which is REALLY frustrating. But, continuing to try to get a straight answer from lulu.
I’d say steer clear of expedited shipping for international orders at the very least until we hear more.
I’ll keep everyone posted.

June 29, 2015 at 1:45 pm #3229Gregory CameronParticipant😛 Just ordered my book. now comes the waiting game
June 29, 2015 at 5:06 pm #3230Steve FosterParticipantWith regards to the Postage side of things, I also found that the Coupons didn’t work in the UK, however, I did find one that did:
FWD15 – this will give you 15% off & it worked for me here in the UK 🙂
Obviously, with the 2 books being Shipped from North America by surface mail, it’ll be another 3 weeks wait at least until mine arrive… but I think I can wait a little longer for my next flight to Alpha 😉
Btw Bill, I’ve tried to e-mail you at your usual address, but both attempts have failed and bounced back. Could you let me have your new e-mail address. Thanks 🙂

Thanks for the update Bill.
My concern is that the books will be just too expensive for many people outside of the US. I’ll buy any Space: 1999 novel pretty much automatically, but even I balked when I saw how much it’s now going to cost if they’re only printed in the US.
Oh well – not much that can be done probably. Looking forward to the books anyway (when I eventually get them!) 😉

July 2, 2015 at 6:46 am #3237Patrick ZimmermanParticipantGot my shipping notice today. Woo Hoo!
Still won’t arrive until next Tuesday, even after paying for faster shipping, but it’s on its way.July 3, 2015 at 12:52 am #3239Steve FosterParticipant
Got my shipping notice today. Woo Hoo!
Got mine too! :cheer: so, approximately 3 weeks to go until I board the VIP Eagle and find out how my beloved Alphans are faring 😆
