Work has begun on the reissue of Resurrection via Lulu.com.
OSCAR GOLDMAN:
“We have the electronic manuscript. We CAN reissue it. The same length. Corrected typos. Faster (well, actually, it just kinda sits there–it’s a BOOK!)December 22, 2010 at 7:32 am #1527Mateo LatosaKeymasterI just finished chapter three. On to four!

December 29, 2010 at 7:40 am #1581Mateo LatosaKeymasterWell, I finally got back to work this week. Tecamachalco Underground has been asked to compose and partially record two pieces of music for the Brookhaven Learning Center at Samoset, whose students will perform their parts LIVE this spring. I spent most of yesterday working on the first of these pieces.
Today, it was back to Space: 1999 Resurrection–chapters four through six. I have now completed the first six chapters. My goal was three today. But it’s early, and I might sneak another one in under the wire. Once this proofread is done, we’ll begin the process to get the book out via Lulu.com. The artwork has already been reformatted, we’ll just need to add the new barcode.

December 29, 2010 at 8:59 am #1582Mateo LatosaKeymasterFinished proofing chapter seven. Time to call it a night. I’ve got five more to go. If I get an early start, I can finish tomorrow.
December 29, 2010 at 4:25 pm #1584Steve FosterParticipantKeep on going Mateo! 😉 but don’t overdo it… a tired out proof reader can miss a lot of typo’s if he’s not careful… & we don’t want you making yourself ill. Just a friendly “word to the wise” & all that… 😉
December 30, 2010 at 7:59 am #1603Mateo LatosaKeymasterJust finished proofing chapters 8 and 9… on to 10!
It’s hard to keep my editor’s hat on–the READER in me keeps getting caught up in the story. I am enjoying Resurrection really for the first time! Why? Because I read so many drafts before it came out the first time and was involved in the plotting and editing all those years ago. When the book came out I was too familiar with it to enjoy it properly.
Now, EIGHT YEARS LATER, it’s such fun!
December 30, 2010 at 10:22 am #1604Mateo LatosaKeymasterI finished my proof read of Resurrection. On to The Forsaken! If anyone noticed any typos in that book, please email me!

It’s a great piece of music, my kids are going to love it and when it’s done I’m sure Me and Mateo can figure out a way for all of you to hear it as well!
January 22, 2011 at 4:48 pm #1733Steve FosterParticipantMateo, I’ve a question re: the reprint of this particular book.
I bought “Eternity Unbound” when it was released. Is the version of “Resurrection” that you’re planning to re-release, the slighly revised/expanded version that was included as part of “Eternity Unbound” or the original version of “Resurrection” as originally released?
& on the same subject, when you say you’re planing to release “Eternity Unbound” as a stand alone novel (I’m sure I’ve read that on a post somewhere…), does that mean, minus BL’s “End of Eternity” novelisation (which I’m sure I’d read somewhere was going to be included in the Year 1 Omnibus) & “Resurrection”?
(Just an aside. I remember when I first received my copy of the original. I read it in one night. I started reading it at about 7pm UK time… and finshed at about 2 or 3am in the morning. I was VERY tired when I got up for work the next day… but it was worth it. It was a THRILLING, unnerving read imho. It wasn’t easy to go to sleep after I’d finished it that’s for sure!) B)
