Well, I just happen to have plans to be in New York that weekend (up from Florida), so it would be cool to get together with a group of crazed Space:1999 junkies. I vote for Sunday as well. Hopefully others can make it too (c’mon, if I can come all the way from Florida…).
BTW, I’m staying in Manhattan (Greenwich Village), so hopefully PowysCon East can be in reasonable proximity to the subway lines.
I’m down in Texas City, so probably can’t make it.
Unless I can get that dang neutrino transmission device working by then…Sunday, June 24th sounds like a winner…
The final super secret location will be emailed to attendees…
But it’s probably in the 30s…

I just scored tickets to NEARfest in Allentown PA which is that weekend. I wasn’t sure I was going to get tix but I managed to get one to that sold out show. A Progressive Rock festival and Sunday I believe the fest is closing with a rare concert by German prog group ELOY. So captain Phil will be there in spirit!
The super-secret location of PowysCon East has been sent out to the known attendees — please let me know if you responded that you wanted to attend but didn’t receive the location.
June 24th…the clock is ticking.
I would love to attend but as I am terrified of flying & cannot afford to travel to the US anyway, I won’t be able to 🙁
But, I will be with you all in spirit hopefully as like so many of you, my love & passion for our beloved SPACE: 1999 just grows with every passing year!
