Well, just thought I’d spread a little holiday cheer!
As many of you know, we are hoping to have Chasing the Cyclops out before Christmas. So put that on your list:
Dear Santa, One tentacled monster out of my childhood nightmare, please.
The Resurrection audiobook (second edition) will be released via Lulu.com. The initial 100 copies are running low, so we’ve decided to make it available in unlimited numbers via Lulu. The four-panel booklet has had to be pared down to a two panel booklet, however. That and some minor art changes (bar codes, logos, etc). Other than that it is the same thing.
Remember, we’ve still got first edition copies available on this site. The new edition will likely become available after Christmas.
Finally, I started work on Phoenix of Megaron–and I finished chapters 1-3 in a single day! If I can keep up the pace, I’ll be ready to do a proofread for typos this weekend!
December 11, 2010 at 10:12 pm #1454Mateo LatosaKeymasterWe’ve ordered a proof copy of Chasing the Cyclops! If everything is in its place, we’ll be making the book available for purchase the same day. We are hoping people can wake up to little 4×7 cylcops dragons under the tree.
Just remember to tell the kiddies not to put their fingers near the maws–these dragons bite! 😛
[They’ll certainly take a chunk out of your day–once you start reading it, you don’t want to stop!]

December 13, 2010 at 3:37 am #1456Mateo LatosaKeymasterCesar Gallegos, a Powys cover artist, delivered the reworked (to Lulu’s specs) artwork for the Resurrection audiobook disc-label. A second–unlimited–edition of the audiobook will soon be available through Lulu.com.
The first edition was a limited edition of 100 copies. It had a four panel booklet which included a bio of Barry Morse and a note from the author. The second edition has a two panel booklet sans liner notes. Anyone wishing to purchase FIRST edition copies can still do so, but stocks are running low.
The second edition has also been retagged to assist MP3 players and computers to play the tracks in the correct order (some older players were giving people problems with the first edition).
December 20, 2010 at 8:26 am #1494Mateo LatosaKeymasterI’m taking a little break from Phoenix of Megaron and working with the manuscript for Survival. As we prep the older books for re-release, I am going through it and correcting it’s numerous typos (all my fault–I fixed them, then sent the final–but unfixed–manuscript for formatting and publication). I just finished Chapter One. Expect a Survival Update thread!
But you already knew that, didn’t you.
December 21, 2010 at 2:50 am #1514Steve FosterParticipantVERY excited about all the new releases Mateo… and delighted that all the original novels will be re-released along with new, Powysverse in-continuity versions of Android Planet & Phoenix of Megaron. I’ll be buying all of these… finances permitted as and when they’re released.
Thank you for all your hard work  don’t stop! LOL! 😛 😉
January 9, 2011 at 9:58 am #1662Mateo LatosaKeymasterOkay, after completing the edit on Android Planet and finishing the proofreading on Resurrection and The Forsaken, I had planned to take the weekend off. Well, I planned to.
I finally got around to reading the letter Rachel McFarlane had written to the person she wants to write the foreword for her book. I won’t mention who it is–because we haven’t asked them yet. But a few minor edits and my part in it is done.
Then I moved on to reading half of Ellen Lindow’s story for Prodigal Moon. It’s no secret that we ran a poll on this site for Powysverse readers to choose a fan-fiction author to contribute a story. I’ve read only half so far. I’ll read the second half tomorrow.
Tomorrow, other than that I am planning to take the day off…or work on some music, or type up my notes for Phoenix of Megaron, or….
January 12, 2011 at 11:19 am #1677Mateo LatosaKeymasterI’ve updated the list of fortcoming titles for 2011. I didn’t included titles scheduled for 2012 and some titles for 2011 are secret! 😛 And one of those titles we’ve been kicking around I’ll just refer to as EeI (that’s “E” “e” “I” with a capital “I” as in Insight, not a lowercase “l” as in loco) , which might just be a hybrid book/audio, another Powys first!
Yes, I know, it’ll drive Zack crazy! 👿
January 12, 2011 at 2:19 pm #1678Glenn McCrabbParticipantMean, Mean, Mean…
Now I’ll be thinking for days about what that could mean. And, Chasing the Cyclops still hasn’t arrived. 🙁 Nothing to distract me from the riddles of the Powys team…
January 12, 2011 at 4:26 pm #1679Steve FosterParticipantLook at that list of releases for 2011! Marvellous. Good to see that Prodigal Moon is now listed. A nice mix of old and new as far as SPACE: 1999 goes. It’s also nice to see some new releases are being prepared for fans of The Prisoner (even though it’s not really my bag, I still think it’s one of the best TV series ever made imho).
Roll on 2011 and many more new releases from Powys B)
