As we move our catalogue to Lulu–including audiobooks–I am looking forward to having a house free of boxes and boxes of stock…
I have put up 10 copies of the Resurrection audiobook at $20 each, fixed price, buy-it-now. That is 1/3 off! Anybody who’s been thinking of buying one should take advantage of this offer. Once titles go to Lulu, we can no longer offer such discounts.
Funny, when the boxes took up an entire room, I was okay with it. But now that they’re dwindling–I am looking forward to seeing the last of them.
January 16, 2011 at 6:20 am #1686Mateo LatosaKeymasterAnyone interested can now purchase at a fixed price via buy-it-now:
Space: 1999 Survival for $10
Space: 1999 Resurrection (audiobook) for $20
Space: 1999 YEAR TWO omnibus for $60! (or start bidding at $50)All discounts are between 33% and (for Y2) 40% to 50%.

When you do an auction on E-Bay, can you post a Link to it? I can never find these auctions when I search for them on E-Bay even if I put Worldwide, Powys, SPACE: 1999, Year 2, the book name etc. etc.
Would be helpful
It’s a tad frustrating tbh, as I was serously considering buying a (cheaper) copy of the Year 2 Omnibus (the full priced version is just way beyond my financial means, cost-wise 🙁
January 22, 2011 at 9:55 pm #1738Patrick ZimmermanParticipantI would say the easiest way to find these is to search by seller – powysmedia
searching “By seller” is an ‘advanced’ search.
and then use the option to ‘Save search’
by saving the search, ebay will automatically send you an email any time a new item is listed by powysmedia, and give you direct links to each item in the email.January 22, 2011 at 10:30 pm #1739Steve FosterParticipantUltra wrote:
Reports of my tech(-abilities) have been greatly exaggerated.
I doubt it 😉 but Ultra has saved the day. I’ve subscribed to your E-Bay newsletter so hopefully, if another auction comes up, and I’m in a position to bid (financially, that is!), I will do 🙂
January 22, 2011 at 11:02 pm #1743Mateo LatosaKeymasterWe have an eBay newsletter?????

Btw, Mateo, we’re online at the same time. Me in the UK and you in the US. How cool is that? 🙂
Very unusual what with the time difference and all that. What time is it where you are? It’s 7:11pm here in the UK.
I’m going to hijack this thread very briefly just to say, from one SPACE: 1999 fan to another: “Hello there!” <starts waving out the window in the general direction of the US… he hopes!) Haha! 😆 :silly: 🙂
January 22, 2011 at 11:24 pm #1747Mateo LatosaKeymasterI just put up another Year Two omnibus on eBay. Starting bid, $50. Buy-it-now $60.
[Waves back.]
January 22, 2011 at 11:25 pm #1748Mateo LatosaKeymasterBTW, we’re 8 hours behind you. It’s 11:25 here. I’m just starting the day!
January 22, 2011 at 11:35 pm #1749Steve FosterParticipantCool! 🙂
Well… I’ve looked. But it’s not there yet. Will keep an eye out. I may throw ALL caution to the wind and just buy the damn thing. It’s the linking material and the new stuff in the book that intrigues me such as…
SPOILER ALERT!

Bill Latham’s addition to “The Lambda Factor”, whch sees Victor appear to Koenig, who I think, has gone to the empty ruins of Main Mission to try and get some sleep. As you know, anything written by Mr Latham is MUST HAVE reading IMHO, hence why I’m more and more inclined to buy the Year 2 Omnibus 😉
January 23, 2011 at 12:10 am #1751Mateo LatosaKeymasterBill contributed the dialogue to that story. As I had originally written it, it only had two lines of dialogue. Koenig, overcome with emotion, and at a loss to express his guilt over Victor’s death, says, “Victor, I…” and bows his head, unable to say another word. Victor comforts him, saying only, “I know, John. I know.”
Bill thought such a momentous occasion needed to have the unspoken thoughts…spoken. And we altered the story to include a dialogue between the two men.

Wow! Sounds like a wonderful & moving addition to the story. Still no sign of the Year 2 Omnibus on E-Bay (either it’s not on there yet, or I just can’t see the thing for looking! Haha!)
But I’ve found a photo (from one of your previous auctions) of the item concerned. It looks VERY nice indeed!

but when I look for it using ebay UK, it doesn’t show up
it must be something that ebay.com is doing to make it a U.S. only item. (insert derogatory comment about ebay here)
here’s the auction # 280619722317
just paste it in the ebay search field and it will take you to the item -
