Oops, I didn’t know about the search function. If I had, I would have called it Fenix. The easter egg was actually a period with a link in the COMING IN 2011 section after the listing for Phoenix.
I plan on putting up more easter eggs, but I’ll be more clever about it next time!
Please remember, this is just the preliminary cover. ITV may request changes or ask for a wholly new cover. We’ve put up preliminary covers in the past, often radically different from the final versions.

That cover is just so cool ! No wonder you said it was “smoooking”. Kinda reminds me of that sequence from The Empire Strikes Back when Luke crashed his shot-up snowspeeder before that on coming Imperial walker. Sure hope the ‘Powers-That-Be’ allow you to keep that novel cover. Very dramatic.

Happily, keeping you happy makes us happy too! Mysterious handprints, surprising plot twists, easter eggs, hints and revelations of the unfolding mythology peppered throughout the books, keeping secret the names of our foreword contributors, and teasing the hell out of everyone with little tidbits of info on upcoming books. All in a day’s work here at Powys. 😛
Just plain evil, that’s what it is. All this teasing and hinting making us look for easter eggs…

I’m certainly looking forward to Phoenix Of Megaron. I am curious as to how it will be re-written to fit into the official Space:1999 canon and Powysuniverse guidelines.
