I like the idea of the revised omnibus books but the cost $200 for two books makes it very expensive and only 200 printed (year 2) a lot of people will miss out. Would it be possible to split the two omnibus up into 12 novels. This will cost more money in the long run but 12 books spaced over 2 years i could manage the cost better. One idea i come up with combine two books in one Breakaway & Moon Odyssey 8 TV episodes in one book making 6 books in all. So 6 or 12 books this would look great on a book shelf all with uniform covers together with the new year three novels it would be interesting to see what over people think of this. Powys still has a number of copies of Year Two available for purchase. No one need miss out. Granted only the first 100 were signed and numbered, but in all other respects the books are identical.

If we were to have published the Year Two books separately as six individual novels, we’d have charged $15 each, with shipping. The books alone would have cost $90. For $100 you get all six in one hardcover volume. And the shipping charges are much less for one book then for six.

Ultimately, it is less expensive for our readers to buy these hardcover omnibi than to buy 12 paperbacks. With Lulu.com, we are charging $20 per paperback. That would be $120 BEFORE shipping. Again, we anticipate the omnibus to be a better deal.

Not too mention how impressive they look!

IMHO the omnibus is a good deal, for all the reasons Mateo mentions. Year Two is an impressive book to look at and feel, and brings a significant measure of dignity to both the second season and the series on a whole.

I must say that I loved the year two omnibus. The book is very impressive and beautifully laid out. I was initially hesitant about the purchase but decided that I would get it to support Powys who were bringing back a saga that I loved. I have every other paperback that has been put out and as many hard covers as I could find. I’m not sure I would have bothered with another set of paper back books.

I do regret that I did not order one of the first 100 Y2 Omnibus volumes. Admittedly, the $$ scared me off a bit, but that was a misstep. I ended up ordering one of the second 100 released, and it have enjoyed it. Throw your spare change into a jar at the end of each day and you’ll have the price covered in no time.

That’s actually an email address — spelling it out that way prevents spambots from being able to find the address and then inundate your email box with Viagra ads.

When you put the pieces together, you’ll get something like:

    dontsendmespam@prodigy.net

Substitute what’s on the orderpage for the “dontsendmespam” portion of the sample above.

Just remove the spaces between the following:

    powysmedia @ prodigy.net

    That should do the trick.

We’ve been putting up Paypal buttons on the pages, but we haven’t finished making them for all the books.
