I am on my sickbed at present, but this news did give me something of a lift 🙂

The cover is great – possibly Ken’s most ambitious yet – but there is more awesomeness if you look at the cover:

Foreword by Christopher Penfold (!!!)

Maybe this had been announced elsewhere on this forum; if that’s the case, I can’t recall it. But then again, I am on my sickbed….

This is great news.

ps (And Born for Adversity also arrived today…. 🙂 )

Actually, it had not been announced. We kept Christopher Penfold’s contribution to OMEGA a secret. Well, cat’s out of the bag now, eh? 😛 Just a little something extra from the people at Powys! Not to mention the gracious pen of Mr. Penfold!

I saw the initial post when it first went up earlier today, but I wasn’t sure if it’d be ok to say that I was actually more excited by the reveal of the Foreword by Penfold than I was about the cover image itself.
but I guess it is, so I guess I will…

That’s okay too! Once the book is out, the only important thing will be being excited by the story being told. That said, it still wows me to see the names of our foreword contributors so far:

Johnny Byrne
Prentis Hancock
Barry Morse
Michael Butterworth
Catherine Schell
Christopher Penfold
J. Michael Straczynski

more to come…

In a few words….

I LIKE IT!!!!

I can hardly wait until next month.

I am quite surprised that more people aren’t impressed by the ‘awesomeness’ of one of Space:1999’s most revered writers (Chris Penfold) writing the foreword myself.

Ah well . Must be me.
