William Latham has posted an update on the Powys Media facebook page re: the re-release of “Survival” as well as an extraordinary article on his own web page about his thoughts on the writing of the forthcoming “Odysseus Wept” and ending the Alphan’s (literary) journey:

The article got me excited and also gave me a sense of relief: there was much about “The Final Revolution” I disliked (a first for me in terms of Bill’s run of SPACE: 1999 novels), however, his thoughts in this new post assured me that the end of the Alphan’s Odyssey is in the best of hands. This wonderful old TV series that is both loved and derided, that unifies and divides fans in equal measures is about to have a season finale that will eclipse (pun intended) 😉 TNG’s “All Good Things…”, DS9’s “What You Leave Behind” & Voyager’s “Endgame”.

SPACE: 1999 – Odysseus Wept. The final journey of our beloved Alphan’s is about to begin.

    Thank you Bill, for everything.
