Need you ask about a 1999 product? Everyone should love it! :cheer:

To hear Barry Morse as, not only Victor Bergman, but the other characters as well was a truly amazing thing. I will treasure listening to this book over and over again. I can only say once more, Well done Powys. 🙂

I have to agree with Zack. This was an amazing audio book.

Personally, I have listened to very few audio books — I prefer to actually read a book, visualize the scenes for myself and “hear” the characters in my head. But in this case, to actually listen to Barry Morse, to listen to the timber of his voice, his melodic pacing, his characterization for each speaker… what a treasure. This was more than just a typical audio book. It was a labor of love and a gift from a very gifted artist to the loyal fans of one of his television shows. “Resurrection” is a milestone in audio books, and a benchmark few others can hope to live up to.

And Barry–as well as Anthony and Robert–did it without taking a fee. Instead, a donation was made for Parkinsons research. And because of their generosity and hard work, this audiobook is now a part of 1999 history and lore.

On behalf of everyone involved, we are glad you enjoyed it.
