Just finished my 4th powys book (after eternity unbound, survival and Born for …) and really enjoyed it. Had a hard time tracking it down but it was worth it. In the poll I voted for Paul Morrow as worst year one character. If he had been given the opportunities like in this book I wouldn’t have voted that way. Thought the sections with him were really well done. Was glad to see that Prentis Hancock did the foreward and seemed to have good memories of the show. The only parts of the book I thought drug at times were the sections set on the planet. Overall, A really good read but I have a feeling Austin is going to be quite a problem on the planet!

I wonder if we will get a sequel to this story. It would be interesting to find out what happens next. How about it Powys, any chance of a sequel? Even a short story in a future ‘Shepherd Moon’ type publication would be interesting.

Interesting that Omega and Alpha didn’t address the Space Brain…wouldn’t you think?

I’ll bet there’s a reason for that…

Are you writing that in your next Powys novel? Or just teasing us? 🙂 Actually the fate of Paul and Tanya’s team and the whole space brain thing could make for an interesting book. A bit like ‘Eternity Unbound’ You could have a prequel, new novelisation of the episode and the sequel… Hmmm, ok go to it Mr Latham, your reading public eagerly awaits your literary endeavours.

I’m only writing non-fiction these days.

Hmmm…wonder what that means?

That is obvious, you have access to a parallel universe where all of this is fact and you are the official historian.

Now we just have to wait until you tune into the right time and place. 😉

Which made me happy, because I thought he meant he was writing a sequel.

But then…

So, I can only hope somebody else is writing it, or else it’s already written.

I can’t play with all the cool toys (and we intentionally pulled some toys out of the Omega/Alpha toy box to play wth later on, sometimes by other authors). Hopefully, next year we’ll have more news on this front.

I’m guessing that means you’re working on a 1999 encyclopedia, or “Making Of…” or something of that nature… B)

Mr Latham, you are such a tease. Look at all the speculation you have started now, will there be a sequel? is it already written? Is someone else writing it? What are you writing now ?
The big question is, not what are you writing but when do we get to read it????? 🙂

When do you get to read it? When it’s done, silly!

Oh come on… I’m happy for installments.

B) Ahahhhhhhhh! That means there is a sequel! :woohoo:

What I’m writing, that is to say, the book I am writing (and what it is, too) is what will be written by me and read by you. Other than that, you may have another theory, but regarding a sequel, that theory (and what it is, too) remains…unconfirmed.

Sincerely,
