January 31, 2013 at 8:25 am #2954Mateo LatosaKeymasterI GOT IT! Kinda…I got a notice from Lulu that they shipped my order… muted ‘yay’.
February 1, 2013 at 12:29 am #2955Glenn McCrabbParticipantWell, aren’t y’all lucky. You’ve got your books, you’ve got your shipping notifications. What about me, no sign of a book yet and… I have never ever received a shipping notification from Lulu for any order I have placed.
But I did get volume 1 of the German Blu-ray 3D version of Space 1999 season 1. No, I don’t have a player, but I felt I needed to have it for the day I do get one. 🙂February 1, 2013 at 9:23 am #2956Mateo LatosaKeymasterSorry to rub it in, but I got my books today! ONE day after the shipping notice (which I suspect was not really accurate).

I am away from home for 3 weeks, and I have been advised that my package from Lulu (2 copies of Children of the Gods) arrived about an hour after I’d left home……
Grrrr!

an entertaining page turner for sure.
time to contemplate
and eventually assemble some thoughts for a review, which I’ll post under a separate review threadFebruary 7, 2013 at 1:01 am #2964Glenn McCrabbParticipantMy books arrived yesterday. Fortunately they were all in the “opened” postpack. 🙁 I am not a happy Zack. I shall be sending Lulu a strongly worded e-mail about this.
Great story BTW, so nice to give some of the characters we heard little of in the TV series some time to shine in this book. Great job Bill, you brought johnny’s lost story to life in a way that he could never have hoped for. The original script would have been wrapped up in 48 minutes but you have spaced the story throughout the Alphan journey giving it a richness and depth that an episode could never have delivered.

Ok, so when’s the next one out?
February 7, 2013 at 9:01 am #2965Mateo LatosaKeymasterI don’t know what a postpack is, but might it have happened in customs?
February 8, 2013 at 12:30 am #2966Glenn McCrabbParticipantI don’t think so, there was no glue on the flap of the postpack at all. A postpack is a padded envelope, it is what the local post office calls them. The book I got today had so much glue that I had to cut the pack open.
