Ok, it’s up!

Go hit the page for the lulu button — and order The Forsaken, too!

woo hoo!

order submitted – and used coupon code JANBOOKS13 for 20% off (good until 1/31/13). The next bit of waiting begins.

I then went back and checked out the preview, which is the entire foreword, which is very touching to say the least.

Orders placed. Thanks again Powys. 🙂

The discount code (thanks Ultra!) dropped the price to $16. Then postage made it $19.99.

Ordered!! While I was at it, I ordered another copy of Phoenix of Megaron. I got one of the convention copies, but figured I’d like one of the corrected copies as well. Thanks, one and all, at Powys Media. B)

I got an order shipment notification from Lulu…
We thought you would like to know that your Lulu order has shipped on 1/24/13 8:45 PM via Mail.
FASTEST turnaround in Lulu history (for me, at least.)

Tex
(with thanks to the entire Powys team for making this book happen)

I just ordered my copies (and copies for ITV, etc.) just today. You’ll have yours before I do! Enjoy it!

I had confirmation by e-mail & SMS (text message direct to my Mobile) that the 2 copies of “The Forsaken” & the 2 copies of “Children of the Gods” that I ordered on the day of release have been dispatched by courier and will be with me tomorow!

I am trying desperately hard not to squeal with delight! :cheer:

Thank you once again you lovely Powys Media people!

finally, finally received confirmation of order shipment.
I was about to fire off a really scathing email to Lulu for their lackluster service.
All my previous orders had been handled the next day or in 2 days. this one took over 3 days.
Especially frustrating since I had placed the order before both Tex and Steve, who already got their notices.
but, it’s on its way at last, should have it on Wednesday

Remember, Lulu has manufacturing and distribution centers in different places. Some may have less of a backload and so ship faster. Don’t worry, everyone will get their books. 🙂 It IS sometimes hard to contain one’s enthusiasm–and we at Powys consider that a compliment!

THEY’RE HERE! My books are here! They arrived a short time ago! :woohoo:

Can’t wait to get home so that I can start reading “Children of the Gods”!

As Barbara Bain herself once said… “Come with us… to Moonbase Alpha…” 😉
