Well I finally got my act together and ordered Shepherd Moon today but I wanted to write a quick post about how thrilled I am to see these copies being shipped into the hands of eager readers. I’m also thrilled about all the positive feedback the return of POWYS has been getting here, it’s something thats been long overdue. I’ve been an unapologetic supporter of POWYS from the beginning and through Mateo and the various conventions I’ve been able to get to know Bill Latham and John K Muir, heck I even spent some time with Jonathan Blum a few years back at I-Con!
I’ve been talking with Mateo and Bill on and off over the last two/three months about the return of POWYS, the new books etc etc etc (And no I will not tell you anything you don’t already know!) and it’s so gratifying to see these books come out, and I am especially thrilled there is a new Latham book coming soon as well. I’ve always enjoyed his style and I love his outsider status, coming into 1999 as a writer and not a life long fan like the rest of us.
2010 is off to a great start, I know more books are coming and I’m happy to see all the support and well wishes posted here.
Now if you are impatient for new books there is another book on LuLu of short stories edited by a certain William Latham. Check it out, I ordered my copy of that as well!
