SJ B)[/quote]you have to be a member of Fanderson to get the book. If you dig Gerry Anderson stuff then it’s worth it, if you just want the book by Tubb then it’s a pain in the neck.
btw I Loved Remembering Julia. Excellent work.

Yes, I love Anderson stuff, ever since I could hold a Dinky Thunderbird Two and a die cast Eagle. 🙂
I’ve been reading about the UFO movie, maybe this should be on another thread, (off topic) and it looks good.
That’s what put me onto the Fanderson/Earthbound trail. Will get the book through the site.
Congrats to all at Powys for audio book, btw.

April 8, 2010 at 4:23 am #753AnonymousGuestFor what it’s worth, a certain person here placed orders on behalf of a number of fans who weren’t Fanderson members a few years back. That’s how I got Earthbound and the new edition of Earthfall back in ’04. I’d name the person involved (and thank him again) but I don’t know if he’s still able to help in this kind of situation.

Were you able to get Earthbound? I considered joining Fanderson for the express purpose of acquiring that, but I couldn’t tell for sure that there were still copies available.

Startrader was also selling both novels on ebay at that time. A recent visit to their website did not show either book listed, but it might be worth dropping them a line to see if they’ll have them back in stock.
I found both novels worth the read. “Earthfall” stands as a good alternate universe retelling of 1999.The novelizations of “Exiles” and “Immunity Syndrome” contained in “Earthbound” are interesting from a ‘what might have been’ perspective.
Hope that helps.May 19, 2010 at 11:11 pm #959Stephen JansenParticipantthanks for the info,
i haven’t got around to it yet, 2 writing projects on the go at once!
