If you click on Space: 1999 Books on the left hand side of the Main Page, look then to the right (at the list of articles). The very first is “Space: 1999 Chronology”. It is still incomplete, lacking most of the episodes of Year Two (i don’t have an omnibus lying around at the moment). But it lists the ones short stores and new Y2 novels and the episodes close to them.

Here is the URL (I hope!):

So “Odysseus Wept” takes place after “Message from Moonbase Alpha.” Interesting…. I did not know you had plans for after MfMA. While I look forward to ALL of the Powys novels, I am now even more intrigued by “Odysseus Wept.”

By the way, I started “Johnny Byrne’s Children of the Gods” last night and I’m nearly finished. So far, I love it. William Latham’s writing keeps getting better and better.

Ah, finally. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Now I can make a note on my reading copies of the books. 🙂

About time we got some sense of order in this universe. 😛

    Thanks, Mateo!

I was going to start campaigning for a chronology and you saved me the trouble.

Perhaps future volumes from Powys could have a note on the back cover saying when the story takes place, as the BBC Doctor Who books did.

    >This story takes place between the episode “Mission of the Darians” and the novel Phoenix of Megaron<

When is Eternity Unbound going to be available from Lulu? That’s now the only Powysverse book I’m missing!

Also wouldn’t mind The Prisoner: Miss Freedom to become available… :silly:
