The final proof copy of Final Revolution was ordered a few days ago — assuming all looks good, the book will be released in the next few days.

As I begin Odysseus Wept, it will be a very strange experience knowing this is my last visit with these characters. Structurally, it will be unlike our other books in that it’s not going to follow any kind of formula like a Space: 1999 episode.

As we’re getting into the home stretch, I would encourage folks to post their thoughts, good or bad, up here or on the Facebook page.

You’ll be happy to know Final Revolution is in a bigger font than the last few! I think before we’re done, we’ll likely put out “remastered” editions of our books, fixing the last typos, maybe getting some feedback from the original authors where that’s feasible in the form of author’s notes, maybe go with more permanent bindings in hardcover, things like that. But no promises yet. Final Revolution is over 300 pages and that’s not all due to a bigger font.

Anyway, keep your eyes on the site over the next week.

Glad to hear of The Final Reflection’s impending release and the beginning of the Odysseus Wept process! Will the releases of the Year One Omnibus and The Prisoner: Miss Freedom be held until after Odysseus Wept is released or might one or both come in between the final two Space: 1999 novels?

SO EXCITED by this news! :woohoo: My eyes have also greeted news of a larger font size with great joy! :cheer:

Counting the days until the book is released…

News of the Remastered versions that are under consideration is also welcomed. I’d love to own a perfect set of these novels in Hardback with a larger font size (including “Chasing the Cyclops”).

    The Final Revolution
    Odysseus Wept
    Prodigal Moon
    Black Doves

… there’re so many exciting books on the way featuring out beloved Alphans! Thank you for all your hard work Bill

Count me in on wanting remastered versions in hardcover as well. I can then slip my paperback copies to others, and hopefully get them hooked on the good stuff you and the other writers have created for us over the years.

With thanks for all your hard work, and for keeping us up to speed,

Sorry, but I have no interest in remastered editions.

That’s QX, SR. I hereby officially will take up the slack, and will scoop up the remasters in your stead.

(so then I have an excuse–as if I needed another–to reread ’em all again)
