In the Main Menu, click on Space: 1999 Books, look at the list of articles on the right and click on Android Planet. I will link the image on the main page to this article later. You can see a larger image of the cover and read the back cover text.

(for those who don’t get the Batman in the Alley reference – buy “Chasing the Cyclops”)

January 21, 2011 at 10:03 pm #1712Mateo LatosaKeymasterI’ve added a few new things to the site:
Now, if you click on the image of the Android Planet cover at the top of the page, you’ll be taken to the novel’s page. No button for purchasing yet, though.
I’ve also added the cover image of Android Planet to the display of our book titles (which also functions as a link to the novel’s page).
And in the COMING IN 2011 section at the bottom, I made the listing of Android Planet a link as well.
January 21, 2011 at 11:46 pm #1713Christopher EagleParticipantI look forward to ordering it and Cyclops. Waiting to order both at same time.
I’ve been meaning to mention this for awhile now, and with Android Planet at the top of the page I finally remembered –
For some reason with Firefox that top row of items is getting pushed far to the right, with the first image being to the right of the long grey rectangular box just below the “About Powys Media”.
Basically the images can’t be seen at all – they are off the page.
Only happens with Firefox, and not IE or Safari. I don’t use Firefox that often, so keep forgetting about this nit.January 22, 2011 at 4:03 am #1715Patrick ZimmermanParticipantmateo wrote:

Although I love the color and the scenario, now that I’ve had a chance to look at it in a larger format, I’ve noticed something about the image.
The clouds appear as though we are looking directly towards a sunset, that the sun is down at the horizon somewhere below the Eagle.
but the lighting for the rest of the image – the android, the Eagle, the canyon, has the light source off low to the right
But maybe that’s just how a sky on an apricot colored world would look like?January 22, 2011 at 10:46 am #1723Mark SpaldingParticipantThat would be a little bit of artistic license to idealize the image. Otherwise the eagle and android would just appear as silhouettes against the sunset.
Or maybe the planet revolves around one sun with another close by? 🙂
January 22, 2011 at 12:44 pm #1725Glenn McCrabbParticipantIt could just be a peculiar aberration of the Pelorus atmosphere… It is pretty weird if you remember from the original book.
January 22, 2011 at 1:39 pm #1726Mateo LatosaKeymasterI say wizard. Definitely wizard.
January 22, 2011 at 2:19 pm #1727Glenn McCrabbParticipantSo that’s what happened to Harry Potter… 😉
