Okay, seems like Year Three (with one exception) has fairly broad appeal.

Let us know if you would attend a free PowysCon in New York City (hosted by the LAT with the HAM at the end) or Los Angeles (hosted by the LAT with the OSA at the end).

We’re talking informal con — we’ll meet up, pick a restaurant, and snappy dialogue will ensue (and you even get to buy your own food and drink!) for several hours.

Sounds good, unfortunately I’m stuck more-or-less about equal-distant between the two options. Give an option of somewhere in the middle, and it might work.

Hmmm, would love to attend but Australia is a bit far from both options. 🙁 Especially for an informal restaurant gathering. If you do go ahead have a great time. I am envious of you all for being able to get together in this way. I’m still waiting for any of my friends to finish any of the books…. 🙁 Thank god or a MUF alien for this forum so I can at least talk about the books to someone. Mind you if you are in Australia and want to catch up, just let me know.

Just to aid in this effort, in your profile for the forum, you can include your location — let people know where you are!

Poll seems to show majority too far from either coast. Maybe have it in Chicago?

Well, I don’t think either Bill or I would be able travel to Chicago for dinner. 🙂 Remember this is not a real convention, per se. That will be in Texas this summer. We would just like to get together with other local fans and and talk over dinner. I won’t say who, but as I’ve shipped out orders, I’ve noticed that some of you live very close to one another. Some in the same town!

I know a few people live in L.A. (where I am), I’d be happy to get together for grog and grub. My favorite pub in L.A. is Dan Sung Sa–and I can often be found there on Saturday nights!
