Greetings, all!
As you might be aware, we’ve had a rough and tumble time of it for the past few months with multiple hacks from multiple countries coming in. The short term solution was to just shut everything down. As far as we can tell, no one got their hands on any information — they were just trying to get you to download malware.
Anyway, here’s the new site in its current state. Not pretty yet but that’s coming. I’ll be getting the images relinked over the next few days/weeks.
Seems like whenever I get busy elsewhere, the Powys dinosaur goes to sleep. So, I’m back again. One more resurrection.
We lost some recent forum posts due to the need to restore a backup, so information about Mr. Mason’s withdrawn book was lost by accident, not by intent. (Actually, I think it’s all there!)
There ARE more books coming.John Muir’s book is literally waiting on a foreword from what I understand, and Black Doves is sitting on yours truly and final edit (I’m amazed Elena hasn’t sent a hit-squad after me!).
We do so miss making Zack do his happy dances.
So be patient a little longer. We should be able to add some snazzy new plug-ins to the site since we’re on a new up to date version of the platform now so keep your eyes peeled.
Who saw Gravity? Boy did I love that movie. I know a lot of people complain that it had an overly simple plot. Films are allowed to have simple plots! I love me some complicated plots but every now and then we need a reminder that film plays by different rules from novels, and Hollywood is fairly pathetic in all of its attempts to come up with some insanely complex plots as if that’s the goal. Face it, we’re jaded. Hollywood can surprise us with a plot development maybe twice in a decade these days.
Sigh.
Okay, getting off my soapbox. Happy Holidays to all and here’s to a more interesting 2014.
Best wishes,
BL
P.S. I’m sticking around this time until we’re done.
