I have posted a review of the novel on Amazon.co.uk directling people to buy the book from the Powys Media website or directly from Lulu.com. There’re copies of the book selling for over £100!

Here’s the review:

“Re-Released 24th January 2013. Now available to buy from Lulu.com
24 Jan 2013
By Steven J M Foster
Format:Mass Market Paperback

Don’t pay hundreds of pounds for a copy of this novel! You can buy it for far less by going to the Powys Media website:

[…]

or directly from Lulu:

[…]

This novel is set between Year One (Series One of the original TV Series) and Year 2 (Series 2 of the original TV Series).

The novel is a sequel (of sorts) to the TV episode “Space Brain” and focusses on writing out Paul Morrow and Tany Alexander and beggining the process of changing the format of the series from Year 1 to Year 2.

A fantastic, thrilling, thought provoking novel full of rich characterisation and (in the final chapter) non-stop action (the fight/confrontation between Tony Verdeschi and Paul Morrow in the corridors of Alpha as Morrow tries to get off the base is a definate highlight of the book for me!) proving that SPACE: 1999, is just as rich and imaginative a franchise as Star Trek or Babylon 5.

5* & highly recomended!”

Unfortunately, once I posted the review, the website addresses were blanked out (hence the […] above) & then I noticed 2 typos! (which I’ve corrected when posting the review here!) 😉

Hopefully, people will see my review on Amazon.co.uk and buy the re-release via Powys & Lulu rather than from a greedy second hand book seller!

Oh, and by the way… I gave the novel 5 stars! 😉

Hey, Steve, great review!!!! But, yeah, Amazon is weird about letting people put in other website addresses. If you want to take the time to edit your Amazon review, you can get around the rule by spacing out the web address or spelling out the dotcom at the end. You can also fix your typos while you’re at it. But your review is a great way to get the word out and help support our friends at Powys Media. B)

THANK YOU!

And the added bonuses of the new edition include:

Fixed typos
Cynthia is now Sue again, uniformly across all books that mention her.
A brighter image of the cover artwork

I’ve just updated the page for THE FORSAKEN by John Kenneth Muir. It is now more in line with the other book pages. I separated the two versions of the cover and made them the same size.

Tweak tweak tweak!
