So, I’m not going. I got busy doing some other stuff.

I’m sending my planned secret co-author of Odysseus Wept in my stead (hmm, who could that be?).

There are rumors of another mystery guest as well for the Powys panel…

Children of the Gods won’t be attending the convention, unfortunately.

Another book will.

(and perhaps…no, not saying any more).

I’ve been busy today. So has Ken Scott. So has Mateo.

Soon, Zack, too, will be busy. Busy…dancing!

At the con:

A Powys Media panel with Christopher Penfold, Mateo Latosa (yours truly), Elena Cambio and Ken Scott
A Powys table in the dealer’s room
A book launch!
A surprise!
Or two!
Signed copies of Year Two (out of the vault) from the original 100!

See you in sunny Burbank, next the airport, around the corner from NBC studios, and with a “bird’s eye” view of its famous black doves.

NOTE: This last line is a joke based loosely on a Torchwood T-shirt. I have no idea (other than that it is also in Burbank) where the NBC studios are.

This is all VERY exciting!

I’m delighted that Christopher Penfold is obviously so involved with Powys and clearly, enthusiastic about the direction that Powys has decided to take the SPACE: 1999 universe in.

I must admit, I’m pleased that “Children of the Gods” won’t be ready for the convention. It’s too important a book to rush imho.

I wonder who the mystery co-author of “Odysseus Wept” will be… I’ve never heard of Elena Cambio (no offence intended, I just haven’t! LOL!) so I’m assuming it’s… the afformentioned Mr Penfold! HOW EXCITING WOULD THAT BE! :woohoo:

I so wish I was going to this convention but even if I had the money, my fear of flying would keep me grounded here in the UK.

Hope you all have a wonderful time! Keep up the good work on our beloved series. I look forward to the release of “Phoenix of Megaron” 🙂

You will soon enough, Steve

In the meantime, I say we start an internet rumor that Ken is going to be the mystery co-author

You know, it wasn’t so long ago that this book called Resurrection was coming out and people were complaining because they’d never heard of…well, me.

Yeah, but a certain non-botanist had complete faith in you.
