It’s amazing to me the number of authors and artists that contributed to books in the Powys line, including those already published and those still to come.

Johnny Byrne, William Latham, Rob Gendler, Cesar Gallegos, John Kenneth Muir, Vicente Gallegos-Aguazul, Prentis Hancock, Brian Ball, Barry Morse, E.C. Tubb, Michael Butterworth, David A McIntee, Catherine Schell, Jonathan Blum, Rupert Booth, J. Michael Straczynski, Andrew Cartmel, Robert Sheckley, Ursula K. Le Guin, Vini Reilly, Ryan Pham, Rachel MacFarland, Jason Lynn, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Armando Vallejo, Kim Breeding, Ken Scott, Albert Leon, Lindsey Scott-Ipsen, Raja Thiagarajan, and more!

That’s not even including those who work behind the scenes, proofing, editing, doing layouts, etc.

Are J. Michael Straczynski(Babylon 5), Ursulla K. Le Guin, and Rachel MacFarland going to be contributing any Space:1999 stories in the near future?

Speaking of Rachel MacFarland, is she in any way related to Seth MacFarland?

    🙂

No, she is a photographer from Manchester, England. Love Seth though!

Nothing to do with Space: 1999, sorry to day. JMS contributed a foreword to our first Prisoner book, Prisoner’s Dilemma. Ursula K. LeGuin contribued a foreword to Robert Sheckley’s novella, In a Land of Clear Colors. Robert Sheckley was writing a Prisoner novel when he tragically passed away. Rachel MacFarland is going to release a collection of her photographs, a sort of portrait of Manchester focused on the people of the city.

It’s weird seeing my name not just next to Catherine Schell but on the same line as JMS…

Talked to her this morning. She is reading the book and said, “I like it. It’s really good!” I told her I’d pass her comments along to the author. Done. What a lovely person she is.
