This is a great show. I was in the chat room when Robert Wood was the guest. I ended up dropping some serious coin on not only his book, but also Stories from the Theatre by Barry Morse and Alan King.

It’s all his fault, ya?

While in the chat room, I also slipped in some plugs for Powys’ Space:1999 books. I’ll no doubt be doing the same this time as well (we might get some new folks joining us here, ya never know.)

Now, about Blog Talk Radio (for those who haven’t played there)…

You can listen in as a guest, and view what goes on in the chat room, but you can’t post replies if you aren’t logged in.

So, shift yer spacesuited butts and go get an account with BTR, like RIGHT NOW!

I don’t want to be the only Alphan, other than the hosts, getting into shenanigans in the chat on Sunday. 😛

And if you see some geek on there by the handle of TexFA, yell at him for making you join up (you can thank him later.) B)

Great, that’s 2.00am Monday down under… 🙁 Hope I can catch up after the event. It sounds like it will be an interesting show.

Can you confirm the time? The BTR website says noon. Is this 9AM Pacific Time?

Thanks,
Pat.

The great thing about shows on BTR is that, if you miss them, you can download them afterward or play them from the site.

Our thanks to the folks at NDBMedia and to Robert Wood for arranging our
participation on today’s 35th Anniversary Show. And quick shout out to the
Powys Forum regulars we saw on the chat!

Just to sum up our announcements today:

1. The Spider’s Web audio book should be available in the very near future.
2. William Latham’s “Chasing the Cyclops” (working title) on the making of
the Powysverse mythology and the writing of Omega and Alpha will be
available in time for Christmas.
3. William Latham will be writing a new novel based on Johnny Byrne’s
unproduced script for “Children of the Gods” to be published in 2011.
4. The Year One Omnibus is still under development but should be available
in 2011.
5. John Kenneth Muir’s “The Whispering Sea” will be available in 2011.

As always, we thank Christopher Penfold for his kind words during today’s
broadcast.

I’ve got all the Powys Space:1999 books but so far have only found the time to read Resurection – the idea of the audio books is great! Looking forward a Catherine Schell one. Would be nice if Christopher Penfold could do one as well (great voice!)

Yay! New books… can’t wait. 🙂 Mateo, you must be well and truly sick of our cries of, “Please Sir, I want some more.” So instead, I will wait patiently for them to be listed and join in Pat’s happy dance.
