Hi Guys, Just thought I’d start a new topic to wish you all a Happy Breakaway Day.

Each year I celebrate by taking the day off work and spending my time in front of the TV watching Space 1999. Over the next few weeks I will watch every episode as time permits and Read some books and generally get into 1999 as much as possible.

I hope you all take some time today to immerse yourself in a little bit of Alpha. 😉

    Take care,

    Glenn

To celebrate Breakaway day I read another story in shepherd Moon, Remembering Julia, which was absolutely excellent.

I downloaded an interview with Bob Wood talking about his own book, Destination Moonbase Alpha, on the Destinies Radio Show.

If Space:1999 were to ever come back as a revamped series I would say the Powysverse would be the perfect writer’s guide.

Happy Breakaway Day to everyone! As for “the Powysverse as a writer’s guide”, well, what can we do but say “THANK YOU for the compliment.”

Finally finished watching the Dorcons last night It took a little longer this year due to a hectic work schedule but I still managed to get through all 49 episodes within the month. What to do now… why start all over again of course! 🙂
